2010 Full Sail University Hall of Fame Inductor Dean Deblois

Dean DeBlois is co-writer and director of the 2010 blockbuster animated film, "How To Train Your Dragon" by Dreamworks. Early in his career Dean worked for Bluth Studios in Ireland as an animator and layout artist for several films by director Don Bluth before joining the Walt Disney Company's animation department in 1994. Working in California for Disney lead to his role as co-writer for Mulan (1998) and in 1999 he moved to the Disney Animation Studios in Florida where he served as writer for Lilo & Stitch (2002). DeBlois currently has projects in development with Universal Studios and Walt Disney Studios as as writer and producer.
