I used to be a fairly talented violinist when I was a kid and teenager. Toured China and Greece with my musical group and performed at several venues. Unfortunately, years of depression and untreated adult ADHD caused me to leave my violin untouched for almost a decade. I just felt that I’d never be good enough and that simply going through the motions wasn’t worth it. Until I stumbled upon this particular video of one of my favorite violinists playing one of my favorite songs. Something in me just clicked, and I took my violin out, dusted it off, and promptly broke my E string trying to tune it. David, if you are reading this….thank you . Your music gave me the strength to recoup my passion for something I used to love doing.

I play the violin since I am 6 years old. This was my first CD I actively wished for when I was 10. Later, I played the song with my friend on the cello on her dad's second wedding. It was all very beautiful, all their friends have been there, in their own garden during summer. I still play the violin, must be 15 years by now. This colourful video effects will stay in my head forever.

When I fist started playng the violin almost 3 years ago (I stil can't believe it's been such a long time) my teacher showed me and my classemates this video and I was completely stunned and amazed by how good you play this song.
