I am stuck immediately when I open the VM. It says "Building the boot loader arguments Looking up /BOOT/LOADER... Found" and just keeps loading. Please help!
Hello! I did the same configuration as you but in my fedora machine im not able to ping my gateway or the internet. I have configured correctly the dhcp as im getting the ip address and also I configured the rule as you. Any ideas of what's going on? The unique difference I see is that I'm using pfsense 2.7.2 instead of the 2.7.0
It's really hard to tell without accessing/seeing the environment. I have done this same configuration with 2.7.2 using my video as guidance and didn't run into the issue you have described.
Here's what to check: 1) Are you CERTAIN that your WAN interface is attached to a BRIDGED network? This is required to have access to your host's physical network 2) Do you have DHCP running on your network? 3) Do any other VMs attached to a bridged network get a DHCP address?
Helped a lot. I was stuck with being unable to get network interfaces to work and completely forgot about lan segments

Yes, it seems something changed between versions :v
