I just bought a 2000 Sienna with 136K miles and the interior is spotless. My husband and I sold our 2020 pickup because we were sick of the high car payments. We don't regret it at all after finding this van! We're excited!
Congratulations 🎊 ❤ I am looking at a 2001 Sienna with 179k instead of a high priced 2015 Sienna at Carmax and I got the purchase order and really don't want that car payment!! How's it holding up? Please update us!! They are beautiful vans!!!
Sienna's are so comfortable. If I'm not mistaken the mid 2000s sienna was actually designed to be a Lexus or at least to have a Lexus variant but they never made it one because they didn't think it would sell as well.
Great video, picking up my 02 Symphony sienna for 2500 from a buddy in a week. Basically he’s giving it to me and getting back the money he put in for upgrades/maintenance..!
I bought a 2002 Sienna XLE used in 2005 with 50k. Now its at 270,000 and I've only had to fix the sliding doors, and 3 of the 4 door handles, somehow the passeger sliding door's isn't broken yet.
I'm here looking at reviews because I plan on taking a 01 toyota sienna xle for a test drive tomorrow. It has 150,000 miles. I wasn't sure because so many people say they have a lot of power electric problems and engine lights problems. It's hard shopping for a car or van when being a female. I hope it's everything I need and more..praying. I don't need to replace anything but gas and oil changes. God be with me. lol
Did you ever get a Sienna? I am looking and will have my mechanic inspect it before purchasing.. if a dealer won't let me get inspection I walk away. . And I'm a Lady too so you gotta play the "don't trust anyone" game 😅
I wonder if you still have this van? My friend used to have a dark blue 2001 Sienna LE but with the alley wheels until it got into an accident. I also wish you didn't sell the XLE cause that was top of the line.
Bro thank you SOOOOO much i wanted to get a my first car but I thought maybe I can get a mini van instead first I saw the Chevy venture in market place but wen I went to youtube to see if people had done a review and found out they were bad sou I search for a Toyota version and found it in marketplace too that’s wen I saw your video and now because of you I fell in love with it THANKYOU SOO MUCH MUY GUY ohh and almost forgot I did watch the video and didn’t skip a single second of it because your a legend and I subscribe to 💪🏼🔥😁
Had a 1998 sienna bought it with 190k miles, it was very clean. Lasted to 230k before it had its first problem... I drove it off road and messed up the exhaust... No more issues until 290k when I sold it it needed some front suspension work... Probably from my abuse.
Canned Memes I’ve told them, they don’t seem too concerned as long as it runs and drives good, which it does. I’ve been told that it’ll shut off if the belt breaks, I just bought a Highlander with a 3MZ and I plan on staying on top of the timing belt
The fact that the wheels aren't all rusty behind the hubcaps is a great sign. If you have a heat gun, try and restore the plastics, it'll really set it off

They are my favorite cars way up there top five
How’s the sienna holding up? Are you happy with your purchase? Looking to purchase an 03 sienna w 150k miles

I'm glad someone's really enjoying my favorite car ever - the 1998-2003 Toyota Sienna!
Why do you like it? Is it reliable? Thinking about buying one
@@lensperspective9753 Of course! It is guaranteed to last 300,000 miles with just oil changes, but be sure to never miss or delay oil changes.
it’s my favorite too!
@@00crashtest timing belt too
I use my 98 sienna as a fishing camping van, best van ever, still keeps up with traffic these day no problem👌
I always wanted to set my up to use it in the same manner. But someone offered me a bunch of money for it so I sold
I own a 2002 Toyota Sienna Symphony and I love it 204,600 miles runs great!! 3.0L V6 210HP
Is it common to hear ticking from the top of the motor at idle? Im looking to buy one but not sure if it is normal on the 3.0L
@@buildnskate9386 I don't think that's normal bud
These Sienna's are reliable as the Previa's they were replacement of Sienna. Toyota makes some long lasting cars they are hard to kill.
Thats what I hear.
Yep! From (1998-2003) The 1st generation of Toyota Sienna. My auntie 1999 Sienna 420k and she still run real good.
Best vans evvvvveeeerrrrr

Wow.....I never knew that, That would have been cool if they had a Lexus minivan
Man thats what I need for my family road trips.....and I love GREEN!!!!
I miss this van more than my dead dog
@@JoesGoldenGarage u sold it?
I have a 2002 LE with 195,000 miles I got new. Great, reliable vehicle.
The best!
I drive a 1999 Sienna XLE 270000 km power sliding door actually works 👍..
You’re one of the lucky ones
Great video, picking up my 02 Symphony sienna for 2500 from a buddy in a week. Basically he’s giving it to me and getting back the money he put in for upgrades/maintenance..!
I love these vans, simple and very, very reliable!
I can't wait for you to find a Lexus and take the journey with you. Great video, Joe.
Thx man

Yep. I had an xle Same issues Pwr door troubles and broken handles. Such a pain. That’s why I like the LE
Once shes cleaned up she'll sell for a nice bit to a young family. Looks like a nice find
The Sienna is a tank.Good choice.......if you’re transporting kids to school.
I love this damn thing

They are amazing vans. Just avoid the pwr sliding doors at all cost. And make sure timing belt has been changed. A necessity
And when the doors break they won't open at all

My Grandpa has a 2002 Sienna Ce with 330,000 miles, basically all highway miles.....the previous owner did his own oil changes
man i strangely love this van!
I do too, I wish they did make a Lexus version
His van has no major dents, it is very straight, just very minimal dings
Erik Thorsen right I know
That would have been good competition for the Chrysler Town and Country! I am sure if Toyota did a Lexus version, Honda would have joined the game too
I wonder if you still have this van? My friend used to have a dark blue 2001 Sienna LE but with the alley wheels until it got into an accident. I also wish you didn't sell the XLE cause that was top of the line.
I wish I did. I sold it. Stupidly

210 hp/220 ft lbs torque. Towing capacity 3500 lbs. JUST right power & speed for a "Lexus Van".
the 1st gen sienna did run from 1998-2003
The 1998 to 2000 Sienna has 194 horsepower. The 2001 to 2003 Sienna has 210 horsepower. It is just too old for its age and lifestyle.
The first and second gen siennas were the best ones along with the third gen odysseys
I love this thing
My parents have an 06 Sienna, it’s got 190k on it, it’s been super reliable. That’ll last you forever

Ben C. hope they know to change the timing belt every 100k miles because it's timing belt driven and the engine is an interference engine

@@JoesGoldenGarage Not sure if you watch Mercedes Source on yt but he recently did a video about restoring black plastics
Joe Spittle love some Kent bergsma. Been buying from him for years. He makes some cool kits
I might get that as my first car/van.
