It was this song that brought me to Tommy's music about 5 years ago. I've seen him 3 times since then. If I could play this song as well as you, I would die a happy man. One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written and you prove that in your playing.
A great version of this song, beautifully recorded. Thanks for sharing. I have small hands and struggle with the getting my thumb round the fretboard, so struggle with the middle passages of this piece. I was kidding myself it might be easier than some of his fast stuff, but fat chance! Tommy is the man.
I agree - he has picked out the nuaces much better than I. I think thats the secret of Tommys work. Many of us try to play it but getting that feeling right is hard.
@ffsooo3 It's the controls of the pickup system " LR Bags Dual Source ", it's an older model. what you see there is the controls for the volume of the piezo pickup and the volume of the microphone. for this recording I didn't use the pick up
@cwsgershwin Hello and thanks, signal goes like this : martin d28 ---> Rode K2 ---> Joemeek OneQ preamp ---> Motu 828mk3 ---> Logic 9 ---> flat EQ ---> Reverb on bus ---> delay after the verb on another bus.
I'm learning the same song at the moment and that my man was absolutely faultless! also loving the sound your guitar is giving man and the reverb is just right! well done and keep rocking! peace
Really well done, pal, you are very attentive to nuances. I wonder what frets you are working at 2:19-2:30 on the upper neck when plucking those triplets and then sliding down the neck. I posted a cover of this instrumental, too, but now see that I didn't get this part right at all.
hmm you mean the pull off from the Sus4 shape to the normal shape chord? basically an F triad going to a Gsus4 triad resolving to the third of the G and back to normal melody.
Hi , I think you can find tabs on the net , but I warn you , NON of the tabs floating around are correct and accurate, the only thing close is the Book from Mel bay and even that is not 100%. the best way to learn this is to work with the recording, and watch videos of tommy etc... slow down audio , learn the nuances and practice. now get to work :)

Ben
you play with the same amount of feeling than master tommy. really great!
Man you really played the hell out of that song
You got the feel bro, you really do
@cwgershwin Another thing is my acoustic room I guess which allows for the guitar
to be recorded naturally and balanced
Great job!

Привет . Есть ноты ? . Очень круто .

No need to... Tommy does one himself....
