Guys, we hope you love this episode as much as we loved the experience!! So stoked to share this adventure with you❤️ Thinking of doing our van tour vid soon... 🤗
Our country is awesome we have EVERYTHING you can see all over the world in one beautiful country AMERICA LAND OF THE FREE AND THE BRAVE AND THE BEAUTIFUL! Traveling Mercies to y'all shalom and G-d bless!
Y'all are very young. When I was young girl and my parents drove then when I drove later our gas was always pumped for us. Then when they quit in about 199something I hated pumping my own gas. Later I would pay my nephew to come meet me at the corner gas station, from his mother's (my sister) house, and pay him $5 to pump my gas!!! Yes, I loved that. Now I don't drive, hubbs Harry does all the driving so no pumping gas for me again! ;) This was a fun trip, thank you! G-d bless!
You are so sweet! They still pump your gas at majority of stations in Oregon. We will have to include a clip in another video or maybe we can call your nephew to pay him $5 haha
You guys are the BEST! Love your videos. Please keep doing what you are doing. I want to see both of you on DWTS! And Drew, its “re-bar” not re-barb. Lol. Thank you both for brightening all of our days!
DWTS! I took Drew to a Salsa class once.... once.... 🥰 Thank you so much for the encouragement, TRULY, and the pronunciation tips - Drew went to a Montessori School and excelled in Math if that helps explain a bit, lol. Can't wait to bring you more light next week! xx
You are such an amazing troopers! Thank you for letting me experience it with you two. My dreams come true thanks to you, even when I'm on my way home from work 😁 Lots of love from UK x
Your message warms are hearts. ❤️ This reminds us why we film our adventures. Camera or no camera we love these kinds of hikes :) xx PS. we loved listening to the well crafted live bands playing on the BBC through our van's radio while running errands.
Wow, this really should have been a 2-parter. I was really enjoying your road trip to Oregon. Somehow you managed to find so many magical spots: the seashell Robin Hood dwelling, Glass Beach, the Tree House, and Redwood National Forest. It all looked so stunning, and you seemed so reverent when basking in the beauty. Now, of course the hike was incredible. It was so fun to come along with you from the comfort of my chair 😁. So glad you guys got to have this adventure. As always, thanks for sharing it all.
You are so right!! A 2 -parter woulda been even better.... GREAT point. Will remember this for the future. Still trying to find our balance with filming, editing, living, etc. We've both come to realize that TH-cam is really where our future is taking us - we are excited and overwhelmed by all the possibilities and things we have to learn! Hopefully the episodes will just keep getting better and better ❤️🙏
The universe loves you two! 🌌💕 Epic hike up to the top of Mount St. Helens. Whoah! Seeing so many people turn around must have made you feel so lucky the weather turned in your favor. Awesome bucket list checkmark! ✔️
Great video. I kept saying, "Don't go too close!" when you were at the ridge of the crater :) Well done filming an amazing adventure. Also, those flowers popping up out of the snow were so beautiful!
We made sure we had good footing and even had crampons in our packs in case we needed extra hold. The flowers were stunning, although, they looked a bit in shock from the snow.
Watch for hypothermia. It sneaks up quick. Its always wet and cold in northern oregon. Have fun its a very intrresting area. Yall should head back the weather is a killer. Its anoying when people put there self in danger and end up having others risk there lives to retreive them from injuries. Been a lot of folks not make it back..thats why they have a check in and out station. Be safe

@@Mrandmrsadventure I don't have much recollection of it other than pictures of all the ash, and I vaguely remembering having to wear those paper face masks. When I was older, we did get the opportunity to take many field trips to the area and the visitor's center. I love your videos!! :)
My girlfriend told me all about it - I was living on Los Angeles County, and she lived in Marysville, WA - they were affected b y all the ash blowing all over from the volcano! Then when I went to visit her they had made (a few years later) suveniers out of the volcanic ash - like glass items, etc. WOW, we will never forget that time. 1980 we were 22!!
Wow! Souvenirs from the ash. That's something they don't even have that fact written in the visitor center. Thanks for sharing :) ps. we lived in LA for 4 years prior to living on the road.
@@Mrandmrsadventure Yes, I thought was very exploitive (sp) and strange to see all the things they were selling made from the ash/lava glass. This was way back in like 1984-85 when I went to visit my friend there. Maybe they sold everything, LOL! Thank you for your show, y'all are very sweet awesome young people, G-d bless!
@@Mrandmrsadventure - You can still purchase glass balls, bowls, etc., that are currently being made from the volcanic ash. Much of the ash used to make the items was collected in Eastern Washington, which was the area hardest hit by the horrific ash clouds. My sister lived in Kennewick and the clouds of ash looked as if there were from the Dust Storms in the 1930s. No color; everything grey toned and so much silica in those ash clouds that it actual "cut" engine parts (and lungs). But such colorful, lively beauty, too, came from the destructive ash. Those who had ash several feet deep were able to salvage it to make the ornaments, cups, jewelry and oddities. The funds received were used to make repairs to what the ash had damaged or to buy food because people could not work for several weeks in the hardest hit locations. Many donated their earnings to the family members of the 57 people who died in the blast and to the injured survivors who escaped. This many years after the blast, the ash is simply a source for glass-making. We drove past St Helens in 1984, 2 years after the big eruption and it was still pretty devastated so nobody was hiking it. So glad to see that the trees have grown back. On the way back you guys MUST go to Moro Rock in Kings Canyon if you like awesome vistas of peaks & mountain ranges. We enjoyed that trip much more than Mt. Ranier which was nice but not as awesome.
WOAHHHH just looked up Moro Rock, EPIC! We hadn't ever seen that before - it sorta reminds us of a mini-Half Dome! It is definitely added to the list. Thanks kiddos that's awesome. Something I can only do through you cause of health problems. I travel but nothing like that for me . But loved watching y'all .
It must have been a terrifying experience. We hope it didn't impact any of your loved one's directly. We can't believe how the entire side of the mountain collapsed! It was incredible to witness from the Johnson Ridge Observatory.
A good story...probably a bit much for the words here...but just imagine virtually all of eastern WA. was covered in 9’ or less of ash...but even the dusting of ash in western Wa created havoc for several days at least in traffic...but ash got into the air intakes so many dead cars every where..Nice to see that nature recovers!
