I would add two details:
While the breaking of the chain certainly _symbolises_ breaking of the rules, it does not actually break the rules of the game they are playing. In the Korean equivalent of Red Light Green Light (though this rule was simplified away in Squid Game), the people caught by the tagger's gaze make a chain with the tagger by linking their little fingers. Untagged players can free the captured players by breaking the chain with their hand. So on the literal level, Sakura is freeing Yunjin, Kazuha and Chaewon from Eunchae. But on the metaphorical level you are certainly right; outside the game, linking little fingers is done to seal a promise. Sakura explains in the shooting sketch that it is meant to signify both "breaking taboo" as well as "let's go together".
Another insight from the shooting sketch is Kazuha explaining how Manchae _did_ actually break the rules: she became the tagger as she won the rock-paper-scissors game, even though it is normally the loser that gets the tagger role. "I make my own rules".
Finally, I notice is that this song seems to be very specific; not just about breaking any restrictions, like Unforgiven is, but specifically the restrictions against gaining knowledge. Eve was forbidden the apple of knowledge; the Bluebeard's seventh wife was barred from the knowledge of the seventh room; and Psyche was denied the knowledge of the seventh room's contents. "I will see what is forbidden", and "Don't look! I want to look / these taboos around me, yeah".

the way you connect and relate the song to the title track unforgiven really makes it easier to comprehend the meaning behind both songs! such a good video! (also love the throwback to impurities lol)

I had a weird feeling about the story of Psyche and Eros/Cupid when I saw the "Burn the Bridge" trailer. That's why I asked about it, I didn't read the press release or anything. I just thought it was that because I was seeing those two gods everywhere, almost like the information was following me around lol 😅
Probably, just an intuitive feeling I got. Also, I had no idea how Psyche would be involved in Le Sserafim's music, now it makes a lot of sense. Thank you for making that clear, I would have never put these 3 stories together, it's interesting how they all have something related to each other.
