    The record one actually works so well. Just label it and if you a test on that topic , listen over and over

    Hi when should I start studying I’m in sixth year but I don’t want to forget everything if I study too early

    • @VaryaArtiukh
      @VaryaArtiukh  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Studying is constant repetition . The earlier you start the more time you have to repeat the same information in order to actually remember it long term

    is it possible to do 80 hour weeks. This includes classes, homework and studying. How often should you revise? Should you get 7 or 8 hours sleep? Or is that subjective?

    • @VaryaArtiukh
      @VaryaArtiukh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Personally, I got minimum of 7 hours of sleep every day. This was the rule for me during the whole year. The number of hours is subjective I’d say but you should study every day for sure. At school I had classes from 9 to 16 and then daily study sessions for 2 hours in the evening. And at the weekend I tried to do about 6-8 hours of studying per day.I think there’re guides and tables online that can help you with calculating the amount of study hours you need))

    What should i be doing in 5th year I need 550

    • @VaryaArtiukh

      All I did was just learning material from textbooks and really nothing more. I took nice notes so I didn't have to write them again in 6th year. Well, maybe do some past papers))Good luck!

    good tips im in 4rth year going into 5th im not sure whether to do chemistry or physics as one subject or a subject together called physchem and im doing biology and history as my other 2 what do you think ?

    • @VaryaArtiukh
      @VaryaArtiukh  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you are interested in those subjects, do them! But I know that both biology and history demand a lot of learning rather than understanding, so you should be ready for this😅I enjoyed physics and didn’t find it as difficult as chemistry appeared to be. I also did chemistry in my Russian school before I moved to Ireland, so I always found physics easier. It really depends on what you want to do in the future

      @@VaryaArtiukh thanks and well done you done so good in the lc i am hoping to do psychology or law in future i think thats what your doing right law i love history its my favourite subject i got an a in the junior cert whats law like in trinity ?

    • @VaryaArtiukh
      @VaryaArtiukh  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LeonEU good luck! Oh I ended up going abroad mainly because of the tuition fees. I do law in Vienna now and absolutely love it, because studying law means applying it to real life problems, so there are lots of practical tasks. My friend is in second year of his law degree in Trinity and he also enjoys it a lot. I know that in Trinity law students have to write a lot of assignments as well as do exams.
