beautiful angel...so beautiful. Now I see how wonderful actor is Martin Shaw ...only know him as Doyle, I hope someday we can have George Gentle here. I know he is a very sensible person and has a big heart to protect animals too. Oh...you know I'm BB fan but always admire Martin Shaw because his life has been an example to follow , for all his fans. Love to watch vid with clasical music...with no lyric.... all words to our imagination. Hugs for you and keep doing wonderful vids.
Thank you for this epic video. It's such a joy to watch a handsome talented man. Mr Shaw has an amazing back catalogue of work. The classical music is a perfect backdrop too. Just read that the new series of George Gently is starting this Aug/Sept. Cannot wait!
A lovely creation Angelfish - pure class. Deserved of the man for whom you have created this for. A fine tribute, to a very... very fine actor. Mr. Martin Shaw equates, excels and evokes L'amoroso. Love the music, love the clips - (so much of his work I have yet to discover in full...!) love the tender moments, and the humour; love the voice-overs... love his voice. Thank you SO much for sharing your wonderful work. Hugs, Angel xx
PHEW, I',m glad you like it. I know it's a very sad beginning, but I wanted to highlight Martin Shaw's incredible range and talent and the music I chose only permitted this arrangement. I really enjoyed doing this, the idea for it had been on my mind for a long time and it's always nice to actually put an idea into practice ;-) Thank you very much for stopping by to watch and comment!
5* - what else? You've captured the wide range of MS' fine acting abilities and put them together to a lovely greater picture, Vivaldi giving it just the right background. I could watch this for hours, in fact I am ... well not exactly hours but really quite a long time :-))
**puts the candles on Nornie's cake and joins in the birthday wishes** Happy Birthday, Mr. Shaw!! ( I know I'm late, but my computer caught a nasty virus last Sunday and came back from the "hospital" only hours ago )
Lovely compilation Angelfish, shows what a great actor MS is with such a wide range of characters, I am sure the emotional parts are the hardest to act and he is soooo convincing in them. Your great choice of music helped meld them all together nicely, xx
Yes, he can be so very proud of what he has achieved and we have to be grateful for all the effort he puts into portraying his parts! Thank you very much for stopping by to watch and comment!
Ahh, thank you so much for stopping by to watch and comment! I'm glad you like the vid and I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said about Martin Shaw. A big hug to you :-)
Ahh, thank you very much! At 6.12, that is Judge John Deed jogging in the episode "War Crimes" followed by Doyle being run across London in "Spy Probe". I hope that helps!
Da kann ich nur aus vollem Herzen zustimmen, was für ein grossartiger Schauspieler!! Freut mich, dass Dir das Video gefallen hat und Danke für Deinen Kommentar!
Don't worry, the clip where GG startles Bacchus never fails to work its charm on me and always gives me a chuckle! And my old Nalle (that means bear actually, oops no wonder he got upset!) already settled with the promise of doggie bisquit. Off to download... hugs!
Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh........................ I loved every second of this, although first wondered if you were going to rip my heart into pieces with the first scenes... And I so love Vivaldi! My oldest dog seemingly doesn't though, he started to whine and wail but that just added to the mood in a way. You chose wonderful clips, I was especially impressed by the one from "Who bombed Birmingham". (((( just next time, please a bit less of those other women, thank you, as they make me envious...)))
Will try to remember the last bit of your comment next time ;-) Thanks for stopping by to watch and comment and sorry for making you sad and upsetting your dog ( will send over a dog treat straight away )
Yes, I know it's very sad at the beginning, but with the music I wanted to use, it had to be done like that ( at least in my humble opinion). Thank you very much for stopping by to watch and comment!
Well, worry is my middle name somtimes ;-) Hmm, but if you think I manged to capture the main and important essence of Martin Shaw, then I'll stop worrying as this is what I intended to do with this vid. Thank you very much for watching and leaving a comment!
That was so brilliant. I am going to watch it over and over. Showcasing a brilliant actor and a beautiful man.

one more time it's excellent!! :))
By the way from which film is taken the scene at 06:12?
You're welcome!
All part of the service ;-)
It occurs to me that he actually could act a very good Ross Poldark ;-)
@angelfish45
if I had access to his agent, I definitely would do so ;-)
Maybe you should contact his agent ;-) ??
