I found your videos very useful. We are on the ship in two weeks and I need sono info. What time have you lined up to collect the tender ticket? And what time your number was announced? Last question what time did you put your feet on Thira’s port? Thanking you in advance.
We had a friend show up to get tender tickets for all 13 of us. She was there between 8am and 9am the same morning. We were off the tender before 2pm. We could have been there about 30 minutes earlier, but we weren’t in a hurry. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!

The tender boat is included. The boat we took from Fira port to Oia costs extra. You can buy that ticket right next to where the Cruise ship tender arrives at Fira.
We watched it all! Excellent vlog and photos! Beautiful footage of ship at night ❤AND Santorini. We will have to book a Greek Isles cruise for sure. We’ll be going on the Voyager of the Seas to Jerusalem, Cyprus and 2 days in Alexandria next June….2 of our kids are going with us. Isn’t it so much fun to travel with friends and family?!❤❤. Off to bed dreaming of Santorini and Sorrentos LNP!😂. I actually take photos of my Sorrentos pizza…..it’s SO yummy!!! Btw….what kind of editing software do you use? Excellent job editing with the music!

Thank you for watching! We did not do the Royal excursion. We took a water taxi from the tender Port to Amoudi Bay, which is right below Oia. From there we walked about 300 meters to an included bus which then took us into Oia. From there an included bus took us to Fira. We then chose to walk the donkey trail instead of waiting in line for the gondola. Have a great time! ~Chris

The reason I booked the Oia on your Own was to ensure the transfers, but it sounds like you had no issues. The RCCL excursion only allowed 90 min in OIa before they transported you back to Fira. I was wondering if you thought it was enough time to take walk around take pics and do some shopping. Thanks again for responding and I may have other questions when I finish viewing your other videos! :)
When we bought the water taxi tickets, they included transportation to Fira from Oia. The good thing about your excursion is that you will get priority on the tender boats. Your tender will take you to the Athenios port, which is where you will board the bus to Oia. Without the Royal excursion, the tender will take you to the Old Fira port, which is where you ride the gondola up to Fira. 90 minutes is probably fine for most people in Oia. We probably wouldn’t have been able to have the long lunch in Oia, and still have time to walk around.
This video is so great! My group is going on this cruise next week and we are so excited! 🤩 I do have a question for you, about how long did it take you to walk the mule trail without riding a mule?

The last tender back was almost exactly 10pm. I checked the time stamp on the footage. Ours was supposed to be the last one, but they ended up sending one more because there were still quite a few people who had not returned yet. If I remember right, we were due to return by 11pm.

We did not book an excursion thru Royal. I do know that if you do book thru RC, you will get priority boarding on the tender.
