Comments: I decided to look at this map after I saw it discussed in the future doom accomplishments thread and in discord as well. I wasn't planning to take a serious look, but rather simply find what all of the fuss is about, and I quickly found out why it was talked about often. I decided to try and find some strats for this map, and I found out some strats quickly, while others were found in the last few hundred attempts. also let me just say that this run cheeses EVERY single area and is quite slow, but I'm still very happy I got this run :)
The avj in the beginning is extremely rng dependent, although I found out you can get semi-consistent with it. I originally didn't realize you had to get on the lift for the viles to teleport away, so I had to go through the internet to find what was supposed to happen, but there is so little stuff online on this map, that I had to go to an archived spendoragon poogers stream to find out what to do, so special thanks to him for that.
the avj in the first island fight is the thing that made realize I can max this map. I tried to find a normal strat for the fight, but I legit would always get rocketed by the cybers on the platforms.
for the cyber platforms, I originally thought you had to do walk back on the platforms after you do the first shot, until I found out theres teleporters...
special thanks to brendondle for finding out about the cheese for the first cyber, because doing the first cyber normally is MUCH harder than the second one. thing is for the second cyber if he shoots too quickly before you can align yourself on the platforms, you can just walk straight back and you'll be on the main platform thing, not so for the first cyber, so this helped me alot. main problem that can still happen is the cyber immediately reshoots before you teleport away.
I was using a normal strat for the second island fight that I could do multiple times in a row in practice, but because of my nerves I messed it up 7 times in attempts, so I had to find this strat which helped me alot.
special thanks to kinetic for the vile maze strat, or at the very least that's what I got from his post, his strat might be different from mine.
I took a long ass time to do final vile jump (and also for the entire finale in general), but that's because I already had fucked it up in a previous attempt, so I played very safely there.
someone could get a much faster time in a fraction of the attempts I had for this map using this or a better route.

also I didn't mention this in the text file but I switched my left and right click mouse buttons because the left one was broken, but my muscle memory sometimes still clicks left, idk if I switch between a weapon and fist in this specific run but if I do, that's why. (fist is normally on my right click button)

new max demo of the year :). Ingenious strategies everywhere, I feel stupid for not seeing the skip of the first fight and also the vile boost for the secret platforming. The vile maze strategy you have here is entirely different than what I had, although both involve camping in a specific spot that is mostly safe, and then using all your ammo to slowly leech the vile count down. This was definitely a titan run that was at the absolute top of the list for hardest doable IL maxes, you did very well ^_^

Bro, try buying a gamer mouse If you can. Ordinary mouses easily break after long run streaks.
Yeah I'll most likely buy a better mouse very soon, this one also has the scroll wheel fucked, so that's another reason to buy a new one :^)
