When it comes to crocheted or knitted washcloths or towels, I think you have to remember that these homemade ones last much longer than the ones you buy. I crocheted one set of washcloths 10 years ago and they hardly look used. The only thing I regret about this set is that I should have crocheted them with a larger hook to get lighter and airier cloths, so that the drying time could have been shorter. If you consider the longer lifespan it puts more value into making them.
The little dress is adorable! I made two of the holders and the little hands had difficulty. I'm not sure if I made them too thick. The bucket hats are too cute! I need to make some of those.
