@@edwardjenkins5421 Oh that's legit! I heard a lot of the other glitches and skips were removed? Is the mack skip still doable? There was also a leveling up glitch that if you switched characters from certain spots during a star, you can get characters such as peach, to learn moves from say Geno. I'm certain that isnt doable anymore lol
@@shirayashaMac skip is not possible. They increased the Cutscene range
You can't skip Mack entirely, but you can skip the bit where his goons bonk eachother into pits.

I've been stuck on this beast for a month... Whenever I get close, it just does its thing where it picks a random person to get killed and its ALWAYS peach. Always! And she's the character I spent ages levelling up... Since I can't get back to the main world, there's not much grinding I can do, and no pick me ups or healing items, so the moment peach is gone, it's game over for me

Data from Single Character Challenge FAQ by Amazing Ampharos
Count Down cycles through his special techniques in the following order:
Crystal(2/3) or Ice Rock(1/3), Recover, Aurora Flash, Mega Recover, Water
Blast, (restore FP), Petal Blast, Corona
The Ding-A-Lings cause him to skip a move in his cycle when they use "Time is
marching on!".
The Safety Ring protects its wearer from Fear Roulette, Crystal, Ice Rock, Corona, and all negative status effects, so equip it onto a valuable character, such as Peach/Toadstool or Mallow, or your solo character if attempting the Single Character Challenge. A more physical character, such as Mario or Bowser, would benefit from the Jinx Belt's protection against Fear Roulette as well.
With the threat of Fear Roulette (mostly) neutralized, your next most serious threat is Dark Star from both Ding-a-Lings, so destroying them quickly would be beneficial. With a weakness to electricity and physical and magical defenses of 120 and 50 respectively, Jump (powered up through repetitive use throughout the game), Ultra Jump, Thunderbolt, and Geno Blast are efficient means to destroy them.
Count Down himself has equal defense stats, 80 and 80, and weaknesses to jump and electricity. If FP is getting low, reserve it for healing and stick to physical attacks.
