Very difficult trail to play because of the inconsistent jump on section 1. Hard to keep calm and pull a no crash run after finally landing it. In this run you can see I was just desperately trying to keep it together, and lost quite a bit of time on some sections.

This footage is from the Pre-Demo version of the game, which only lasted 10 days in October 2024. The game has since been updated, and the mechanics have changed so that a similar run may no longer be possible.

Nice run!! I didn't realize you could make jumps that far and land them! looks like it is all about timing! I'm trying to crack at that 1:31 barrier and I keep getting close at 1:32!

You need a certain type of mindset to compete for time in this game. If they can add an option to skip the leaderboards it would make it more fun and relaxing imo. But there will be less incentive to improve and thus less playtime idk.

Surely. But if it wasn't for leaderboards, I wouldn't play at all.

The Leaderboards are there for those that want the challenge. It was nice having it from the first one since it encouraged you to explore new ways to go down the trail and look for shortcuts. There will be different modes as well where you can make relaxing runs not have to worry about the time.

@@TheBookPimp it's for sure a delicate balance. I just feel at it's core this is supposed to be a relaxing exploratory game but timing things takes it into sport racing genre.

@ did you ever play Lonely Mountains: Downhill? It has the same mechanics, but no Multiplayer so this will be a nice addition!
