    I've been waiting for this video, now I cant wait for Part 3 :P I'm so glad you mentioned Createx's Candy2O line, they're amazing! I use Createx almost exclusively for my models, with the rare Vallejo for special-purpose work (like their wood set).

      Thank you Josh!! Yea im going to try the Createx/Wicked colors for sure, I do use them now and then! They have some sweet colors too, email me some pics of your builds man would be cool to see them!

      @@Mannysscalemodeling if you do, I highly suggest getting their 4021 thinner - 20% thinner to paint, and it flows out of 0.5mm buttery smooth. You can thin it more to get it out of a 0.3mm brush, but it's prone to running if you don't do light coats to build up.
      I mostly build gunpla, but I have built a 70 Monte Carlo and I have 3 car kits in my backlog. Currently working on a 69 Nova, and have a 69 Camaro Z/28 and a 70 Firebird in my backlog. I'll see if I can get some pics snapped over the next couple of days for the Nova - I just got a lightbox for photography today, so I'm eager to test it out :P

      Nice man yea send some pics for sure! 69 Nova is one of my fav cars lol. Awesome Ive heard those lightboxes are pretty nice

    Very cool, I'll definitely be watching PT 3! I have airbrushed flames like that on shirts using Createx, but I never tried that way on a model. I didn't know they made the stencils small like that, where did you find those?

    • @Mannysscalemodeling
      @Mannysscalemodeling  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

    • @pappytinkers
      @pappytinkers 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @Mannysscalemodeling yes, I should post done of those pics. Createx Will last a long time on fabrics like that, I'm talking years. I've always wondered if you could use those cricuts for that, I might have to look into those

    • @Mannysscalemodeling
      @Mannysscalemodeling  25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@pappytinkers Yea for sure Pappy! I used to do T shirts but always used those Badger Air Tex paints lol, still have some. I have used Createx but not to much. I do like those Wicked Colors though! The Cricuts are pretty cool, make alot of stuff with them

    • @pappytinkers
      @pappytinkers 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @Mannysscalemodeling other clothing items can be much more fun, cause I would have them wearing them while painting, to make sure they were centered😜. The ultimate would be to do some airbrushing at Fantasy Fest in Key West (if you don't know, look it up and you'll thank me later). It's on my bucket list lol. The Wicked colors are great for models, but be careful of the clear you use, like my short from last week. I'll see if I can find a used Cricut

      @@pappytinkers I hear ya never thought about them wearing stuff and air brushing lol cool!! Ive heard of it that would be awesome to go there for sure!! I use Vietek 2K clear on the wicked colors so far no issues lol. Best Cricut to look for Pappy is the Explore Air 2 well for what I do anyway

    Newb question - does the tack cloth gain a benefit to the average painter (Like me..."One Color Tim") ??
    Thanks for sharing!

    • @Mannysscalemodeling
      @Mannysscalemodeling  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you Tim!! I use a tach cloth before I paint, and I usually use a Tamiya anti static brush first too. But for doing the colors like this, it gets the overspray off between each layer.
