    Hey Everyone, I know I haven't made scraping videos lately but I have about 3 or 4 in the works but I had to make a video on this machine. This is a $6000 dollar machine. If you deal with gaming stuff as I do, It's worth the investment. I bought a used one for $2500and I was sweating bullets figuring that I bought something for 2.5K that won't do a good job or worst get something that was not working since I bought it off eBay. Definitely my biggest purchase on eBay by Far.
    I bought this in February or March and I have to say the thing has been paid for 2 times. I had a guy I would pay $2.00 a disc. I've done over 2000 discs with this machine so I've saved 1K already if you take into consideration I've spent about $500 for consumables. Not only that but this thing works so well that out of the 2000 discs I've done, I've had only 2 issues.
    If this machine breaks down on me, I have no hesitation in getting another used one or even a New one at 6K. This piece of equipment is fantastic. Spend the money on it and you won't be disappointed. Just make sure you follow the guide and replace the consumables when the guide says so or before. I find that when you get close to the end of a pad you might have to change it before the 50th use.

    Helped me a ton. Was having the issue with swirl marks like you said so I ordered some new buffer pads. Thank you!

    Also love these machines and I am going to give you this free tip - between cleans, spray the pad surfaces with water and give a quick clean with an old toothbrush or similar. This removes the surface material you have sanded off the dvd discs and will give you at least 75 cycles per pad. . .!!

      Im very pick with my discs and i find that even when you ckean the pads, its doent give the same results. I sometime get more than 50 out of the pads but by 50i start not to like the results.

    Have you ever sent one in for repair/needs refurbished? Thinking of picking up a used one locally worried about future cost for servicing.

    Hey there ! Not sure how old the video is buy found it via Google. Had a question regarding the machine. I noticed it cleans silver back cds the best. But noticed the black ones like ps1, it leaves swirls, very minor but it does clean the discs. Do you get it too ? The silver backs this machine leaves great. I've had a jfj as well, and jfj is no good on any.

      Pass the #1 step on the ones that leave a swirl 1 or 2 times maybe even 3. Should get most of those swirls off

    Hey I have one of these machines and I’m getting swirl marks on every disc I resurface from Wii games to the black PS1 games. I have switched out the pads but even when they are brand new they still do this. Does yours do the same thing and if so what seems to be the fix because I kind of expected somewhat better results from this machine compared to something like a JFJ Easy Pro. Thanks.

      I guess depends how bad the swirl marks are but usually they go away once you use the #1 step once or twice

      Also, with the water conditioner, make sure you use 20ml per gallon of distilled water mixed in and/or make sure you have a good buffing pad. You'll get a swirl-ish finish when that pad starts to go south and/or discoloration on the disc.

    How much are the sanding pads? Changing every 50 discs seems very frequent!

    Do they lock this one down where it is unusable with a timer/keycard like the Eco Pro 2?

    • @champlainscrap6076
      @champlainscrap6076  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I don't have a keycard or anything like that

    • @Chrisicola
      @Chrisicola 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, its also a wet sander vs just a buffing machine like those lame card units.

    You couldn't plan ahead and have a disc that needed to be resurfaced already picked out instead of going through several discs to find one?

    As good as the machine is, I'm better off getting the jfj easy pro.

    • @champlainscrap6076

      If you only do a few game disc, I agree. If you do about a few hundred a month, it doesn't compare. Just the time you'll save alone is worth it.

      @@rogeliomartinez3672 up front the jfj is cheaper and it all comes down to amount of discs you resurface. I had the jfj and in the long run the eco auto smart has saved me lots of money just on customer returns and saving very scratched discs. I never got results like that from the jfj. Just my experience.

      I just got a JFJ and the especially on PS1 discs the swirl marks are VERY obvious if you're in any kind of well lit room -- very disappointing. What's funny is that while I have games that are more 'scratched' that have no disc-read errors on ripping to PC (ultimate test of any errors) I have a PS1 disc that - while it can play - cannot be ripped no matter how many different ways I've tried buffing it with the JFJ -- and there are no deep scratches just the swirls. This machine looks amazing but I'm not a retailer I can't justify 6K for my personal collection.

      @Dan Dan thats the drawback on this machine. The cost. You need to use it a lot to make it worth it.
