Hongyadong, formerly known as Hongyamen, is one of the ancient city gates of Chongqing. It is located at No. 88, Binjiang Road, Jialing River, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. In 2003, a total investment of 385 million yuan was invested in the demolition and reconstruction of the old city in the Hongyadong area. It was completed and opened in September 2006. It is a tourist area with functions such as sightseeing, leisure and vacation.
Hongya Cave is a key landscape project in Chongqing, with a construction area of 46,000 square meters. The main attractions are composed of stilted buildings, antique commercial streets and other landscapes. Hongyadong has a total of 11 floors, and the lights at night are turned on at 6:00 pm and turned off at 10:00 pm. It is expected to watch the flood cliffs dripping green from the towers on hanging feet, visit the old streets of the mountain city to appreciate the Bayu culture, watch the confluence of the two rivers in hot pot in the mountain city, and taste the world's delicacies.
