Hello, I am from offshore and I applied for ACT region under 491 category (ANZSCO: 261112 Systems Analyst) in July 2022. I have 70 points + 15 regional points for 491 = 85 points. What are the chances of getting selected in draw for EOI & approximately how much time it would take? I am worried as it has been nearly six months without any update. Thank you for your help in advance.
Hello. I really love your videos. they are very well thought and well made. you always share proof of what you are talking about which makes it very authentic. I am a 189 applicant waiting for my visa since 3 and a half years. When can we expect the govt to completely clear the backlog. Before June 2023 or it can it move to the next financial year as well?
based on this video th-cam.com/video/wVPxNwmhQSE/w-d-xo.html and the the recent announcements, there seems to be a priority handling list for Hong Kong Passport holders, teachers and healthcare workers for skilled visa applicants. Do you know it this priority exists in GTI sectors?
I wish the government would look at the immigration plan from the eyes of those people who maybe want to migrate to Australia or any country for that matter. Migrants are not only lone individuals, they come in family units. Parents, children, grandparents, brothers and sisters, cousins etc… Very often these families want to migrate together. They work together, build businesses, help with childminding, with getting part time jobs. Job share, they work as a unit to support their family and the greater community and the country. Families are just as important as migrants in my opinion. Why not get rid of the ageism attitudes towards migrants. Families who emigrate and embrace another country often look after themselves. They are not a burden on any country. Older family members help stabilise and balance a unit. Leaving the younger ones to grow and build and prosper. Both need each other. Why not allow one individual to come and migrate and eventually if they prove themselves to be valuable members of society allow them to bring over other members of their families. Get rid of the balance of family test. See how many really good honest family members will come and help build Australia. Just my opinion.
Hi Karl, what do you think about the quota for next financial year. Is it going to increase or decrease from 195k?
