This inner contradiction, to some degree, is probably in each of us in some measure. My videos on making it as easy as possible to start a drawing session may be helpful. All the best pushing through with it. 😀
When we can’t, there’s a whole world of possibilities which “unfortunately I can’t do now”we dream about good drawings. When we can, we must face the real thing, beautiful ideas on the mind some times come out ugly and bring frustration. I think that’s the reason why sometimes we buy more drawing material we don’t need. They are a promise of a good drawing that could be done. Break the promise, do bad drawings on purpose until you don’t care hahah
So good Stephen, especially after what I mentioned the other day! It was just this morning on my walk I forced myself to stop and observe just as you'd said, I saw how much blue was in the gums vs the yellow green in the others. And then I did the layer/planes technique in my mind to try and think how I'd draw the front vs the background. Thaaaaaank you
This was definitely the video I needed to see this week. I get so stressed when I can’t draw, and you’ve reminded me that the observation of our daily lives in between artwork goes hand-in-hand. Thank you! :)
I'm eager to draw when I can't. And when I can, I'm paralized with fear and up procrastinating the whole time up =___=

You got it!!! Continue and dont stop just literally put a circle on the paper or be super bored before you draw.
That slow-motion panorama through the bush was insanely beautiful, and was perfectly complemented by your thoughtful voice-over.
Thanks for saying so. 😀

Absolutely spot on.👍 Thank you
Appreciate that Heather. 😀

Glad to hear it was helpful. 😀
Really nice shirt!
Haha. It’s one of those shirts you can’t always fit into - but the troublesome area is off- camera🤣
Before you started painting, were you already drawing or sketching?
No, I started with oil painting. 😀
@@stephentraversart You did go to art school, didn´t you?
