I've worked in retail and the same thing applies with the sunday afternoon church crowd. They've just sat in church for hours, they have to get ALL THEIR GROCERIES and they're so impatient and mad the store is so busy.

As a 911 dispatcher, can confirm that the 911 and non-emergency lines are both treated like customer service. I regularly have callers request animal control for wild animals being outside (AND say that their property is not a natural habitat), police for kids playing outside and for neighbors parking too close to their driveways (AND for companies in the roadway temporarily), and all types of not minding your business shit.

Here’s the deal, I’m totally on board with jumping on the not flushing tampons for the purpose of saving our septic systems however, we need to be European in this and ensure that each stall has a mini trash can and disposal sacks. Additionally, why in God’s name can we not create stall doors that don’t have an inch gap between the door and frame? WTF ?! And who do I have to blow to have a decent hook on the inside of the door?
Lol I would rather have my septic tank pumped out every few years than dealing with a bucket of bloody stuff in the trash (for the dogs to eat) every month.
Yes, as a European, I do find your loo arrangements somewhat puzzling. Just why are the doors so small, and inadequate for any 'aural masking'? And why can't you dispose of your period bits and pieces in a bit of peace? I love so many things about your country, but not this. Is there perhaps some arcane historical reason behind it all?

After church crowd problems. I worked a restaurant. Had Jeff Foxworthy come in, after church, with 10 people. They all ordered wedge salads, French onion soup and water. He paid the whole bill. Left me a 5% tip. They got impeccable service.
I get married in march and I haven’t even posted the ring on instagram 😂. I have also totally had it with all that pomp and circumstance. No engagement party for us either because that just seemed insane to me lol. Two bridesmaids, no maid of honor, and I’m not even wearing a white dress 👗 The only strict thing I have about my wedding is NO BRUNO MARS. NONE OF IT
Omg I went to a friend’s wedding in the Dominican Republic and the bride said that we had to give speeches at the reception 😫 I absolutely hate public speaking, so during the reception when people were one by one giving their speech I kid you not I excused myself to find a bathroom to “pee” and took my sweet ass time 😅 I came back and the speech circle jerk was already over. I agree with you guys on the strict itinerary these weddings are! For the destination wedding I was at they had a rundown schedule of things to do each day as a group and I’m like oh hell no I want to relax with my boyfriend in peace and do our own thing. I didn’t fly all the way out here to constantly socialize with people over and over.
My son never was a waiter but he was in the Thespian group at school so a lot of his friends were. His thing was always, 20% regardless. No matter how bad we wouldn't blame the waiters. Especially for the food not being right or being cold or whatever.
Been in the restaurant business for almost 30 years. I think it should be a law that everyone works in the front of the house for 6 months without any other source of money. Learn how to be a hostess, server, bartender and if possible, manager. You will definitely have more respect for the employees and actually know how a restaurant works. For all the karens out there that walk in and start out by abusing the hostess for telling you there is a wait. Then you ask why when there are empty tables. Know these reasons why; there may not be a server for that section; there are people ahead of you on the list; if the servers get in the weeds because it's busy, the server may not be able to give the best service; when too many diners are sat all at once, it will put the kitchen behind resulting in your food taking too long. Most importantly, YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY CUSTOMER!!! Your server has other people they're waiting on!
My mom talks about the church crowd all the time and she hates them! She said they would pray it wouldn’t land in their section because not only would they over use the waiter but it would be like 10+ people and no tips!

The last time I went to Target I had to pee SO bad. The last stall was taken, so I ducked into the first stall- shit smeared all over the seat. Nope. Second stall- pee all over the seat. Nope. Third stall- a turd SO LARGE it looked like a fucking tree limb. I’m not kidding. I honestly don’t know how the woman who birthed that honking thing actually walked away. If I had passed something that large, I’d have had to go to the hospital. TL:DR- I held it and went pee when I got home.

I’d like to share my theory on captions for all romantic life events posted on social media: the longer the caption the more hate they hate each other.
My rule for weddings of people I don’t ADORE is that I will sit down and price out the clothes and tickets and hotels and all of that crap. Then I split it in half (or a quarter) and spend that much on their registry and stay home.
