The English version from XC2 isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Rex simply can't scream, other than that the voice acting is pretty decent, with great standouts like Malos and Nia
Just started playing XC2 and noticed how awful the voice acting was compared to XC DE (which I played first) I ended up changing it to JP voice acting and it made the game 10x more enjoyable. Then the thought of “I wonder how the JP voice acting was in XC DE and that’s how I ended up here.
TheSaito27 i will always prefer great english voice acting over great jp voice acting because I can understand it, but yeah the jp voice acting is pretty great as well
@@Austin-lm6iq To me, as a person who is neither Japanese nor English by native language I prefer the great japanese voice acting. :D But I really have to say, the english is also outstanding in it's quality. Even tho the british english is pretty wierd - even to me sometimes.
I'm so fond of the japanese version of voices. But that's entirely biased opinion. I mean english is not my own language anyway (same as Japanese obviously) - but I figured out that the japanese voice actor of Dunban is actually the same voice actor which did gave his voice to Heiji Hattori from Detective Conan - which I entirely like as a character.
japanese voices are slightly better but i like the english more because i think the english voices fit the characters more, especially dunban. Shulk also sounds too young in japanese imo
Tbh i dont like English voice acting in Xenoblade games. They all give really awkward vibes. Thank God it has option to switch to Japanese, so i finished definite edition in Japanese voice. It's much better than awkward English
@@brandonojeda1686 Me too it’s kinda weird if they talk British but I prefer Japanese Dub in Xenoblade Chronicles series. Also I love playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Japanese Dub with English subtitles are much better
It's very simple to me: I play in JP because It's a japanese game made by a japanese developer which the script was made in JP. So I don't want experience the game in english with a LOT of localization, cuts and different dialog and names that just want to please people who are lazy and doesn't want to learn about different culture and languages.
As a primarily dub watcher/player, Xenoblade voice acting is always better in Japanese. However, Xenoblade 1 still had a great dub. It's mainly Xenoblade 2 that is utterly atrocious. So much so that I dropped the game because I couldn't stand the voice acting.
It feels weird seeing their mouths line up with their words
I now come to You with the Japanese Version! Hope you all enjoy!
@@jeromeflocard3138 It was removed due to copyright. Sorry about that

Yeah that part was awesome to see vegeta fight cell in the context of this game
Really?
@@snknero9935 yes is their voice actor
@@r-ez8111 That cool.
Please wait a little bit for the 1080p to process
Great for passive listening for Japanese immersion learning :)
I would say the English and Japanese voice acting are pretty good. Unlike the English version from XC2
Just got the game about yesterday, awesome gameplay, battle mechanics and voice acting

@@wekkboi1498 they're generally good. Unfortunately rex just doesn't cut it with intense moments
@@wekkboi1498 100% agree, besides Skye Benett (Voice of Pyra nand Mythra) did a splendid job, as good as Addam Howden I would dare to say
@@wekkboi1498 Nia's voice sucks. People only defend it cuz of the Welsh Cat meme.

Still can't believe Dunban is Captain Falcon!
the japanese VA is Hyo horikawa
voice of vegeta of dragon ball series

Dickson 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🍌
Both are very good, but I think Xenoblade is the one series where I actually prefer English. I miss the Bri’ish 😅
One of the few cases where I prefer the English to Japanese. The Japanese female voices are really high pitch
Fiora's JP voice is adorable as hell tho, Eri Nakao has a very unique cute voice
I love Fiora’s JP voice her voice really cute and very adorable as well and I love Japanese female voices they’re sound super cute.
english ones are better
My favorite scene is this. 5:04:00
Obviously the english ones are 3 times better.
wrong
English version is so bad
Japanese version is so good
Dunban with vegeta voice sounds weird man, not old enough. The rest is ok though.
I usually play games with JP voice but XC1 english is better imo.
