The variety of instruments and songs is awesome! It gives me an illusion that different kinds of music can not only attract NPCs but also monsters as well. Imagine after you kill a monster and identify its monster card, you realize that it loves flute music. So next time you encounter the same monster, you can lure it with the flute, and when your musical skill is high enough, the monster can even have the possibility to become your ally! I just have this random thought of becoming a beast-taming bard after watching this video, LOL! Anyway, keep up the good work! Can't wait to get my hands on this game!
There should be an option to mute the background music when you play these instruments so you can listen to them easily Alternative, you can have each instrument play different parts of the same song and if you have a group of people playing different instruments, you get a more complete song. It requires more effort to do but it's cooler
Not a bad idea, that skill affect how it sounds. Baldur gate 3 had anyone without the instrument proficient play off note and passer-by would throws rocks at you just like in elin.
