That Hawaiian Punch paint scheme was beautiful. It took me back to the 1970's when that stuff was pure nectar for us kids. Oh yeah, nice win. I always appreciate the live breakdown of the race and your strategy, which is always changing as a race progresses.

Great race! Tires are everything in this combo. I had a similar race earlier in the week. Took tires with 20 to go, started 14th, got to 5th and was way faster than the front 4 and the yellow came out and finished that way.
last race i did in this car i missed a shift on restart and the guy behind me runs me over then complains and tried reporting me for brake checking him on restart. watching the replay you can clearly hear me hitting chip from missed shift. nice race you did here
Great result and race there! I also tried that strategy, but got killed in the last tap. Thou I made the same mistake I think the #1 did there - I almost bet he didn't add fuel in the last pit stop and maybe that's why he was slow in the center
About how my race went Tuesday for me. Instead I stayed out and the person restarting 13th blew through the field and almost won it. Caution with 2 to go saved it for me. Tires are king at these Legacy tracks.
A whole lot of people overdrive the first 10 laps and then are incredibly loose the rest of the run. I think part of it may be the car is heavier than all the other stock cars, but also people are used to having only short runs in fixed oval racing so they go all out every lap.
And it ends up being a self-fulfilling prophecy. Race like it's going to be a short run, burn off your tires, inevitably cause a crash overdriving, therefore creating a short run. If everyone drove within their limits and planned for long runs, there would be more long runs
