My girlfriend has been wanting more goth tops, but can't afford the fancy name brand clothes, so I'm going to attempt to make something like this for her! Thanks for the tutorial!
Angela Benedict the odds were good that it was in the store but damn, you found it right as you said it. that's some witchy shit. i guess i should become more optimistic too haha
For people who are doing this diy DONT LET GO WHEN YOURE WEAVING. 😂 I accidently let go and the whole thing was immediately undone. The leggings I made look super cute though now. 🖤
Such a crazy coincidence, I'm wearing the EXACT same Christian Death shirt AND a black rosary necklace while watching this! I've been wanting to make a shredded top for a while now, so this is really helpful. Thanks
YAAAYYYYY I miss seing your content, I adore this channel and you. You and your channel have inspired me to start and devople a goth teen night in my area, I love the stories of the 90s and clubs. After school I plan on moving to new york, it just seems awesome there anyway. Love you
My absolutely favorite thing to do these days to all of my big clothes, even pants! I learned it from your first tutorial and kind of went nuts! Thanks for all of the help you have given us to let our creativity flow!
Did it on leggings and came out perfect Though if doing in leggings recommend cutting them while you wear them because it’s hard to get good cut placement if not
I really love this! I always do this sort of stuff on my shirts leggings, etc. Living in Montana that's the only thing to really do to basic black clothing because there are no Goth stores or etc. But I find doing this stuff very therapeutic and pretty after words.
Just finished trying this out and I absolutely love how the shirt came out ~ I Never thought about doing this but I'm glad I came across your video. Thanks for the tutorial! 💙
Regular chalk also works to temporarily mark fabric, and comes out very easily in the wash. Also since I hate ironing I bought an inexpensive steamer to get wrinkles out of fabric.
This tutorial randomly showed up on my feed and I actually tried it and I think you have changed my life. I notice most of your fashion choices are tight fitting clothing. I’m wondering if there’s anything that can be done with A -line dresses and skirts. I can’t afford new clothes atm but I’m trying to convert some old stuff.
Wow awesome great work again! This looks perfect, like you had buyed it from killstar.I love your wonderful ,interesting and creative videos.

Love this video. I remember doing this...great memories. Last time I did this was when a Friend and I were doing a bunch of farmers markets and selling our stuff. We were called Hollyweird Kouture. 😊
It'll save the fate of so many things that may have been destined for the trash or thrift store donation. You can get creative with the weaving too once you get the hang of it, it's really fun!
The white eyeliner to mark the T, huh... How have I never thought of that before? Thanks for the tip! The finished T really looks amazing, epecially on you. 🖤
Angela Benedict I know the feeling. I found an adorable pair of black brocade combat boots that told me the same thing, lol. And I'm definitely doing this shirt. Your DIY one looks way better than ones I've seen already made.
You’ve got that “this girl is really hot but actually is a normal person” thing going on in this video. That’s a compliment if it isn’t obvious. Nice technique!
This shirt is AMAZING! Before I saw this video I was actually going to buy a plain black long sleeve shirt to wear under my job uniform shirt. I may have to buy two now! Your videos are awesome 😊
The savers near me has a huge sale every year where everything is 50% off. I got a bag of full of clothes for $20. The garment district thrift store near mr has $1 a pound clothing days too :)
Slit-up tops were never really my thing but I do like them on others haha. The one you made here looked so cool, you totally recreated it into something all your own, you destroyed it (in a good way LOL). Haha seriously, great tutorial and keep 'em coming dear. :)
"Look how this person parked" - LOL I say the same shit everyday here in SoCal!
Bad parking irks me!
Be prepared for the big shake.
"The seams will be your guide."
That sounded so mystical with the background music.
Are the seams gonna tell me my future?
Ask them.
My girlfriend has been wanting more goth tops, but can't afford the fancy name brand clothes, so I'm going to attempt to make something like this for her! Thanks for the tutorial!
That's such a sweet gesture!
"all you have to do is believe, believe it exists and it doe- and it does! here it is" ugh your powerful mind
Believe! Will it into existence...Also the place is huge so the odds were pretty good :)
Angela Benedict the odds were good that it was in the store but damn, you found it right as you said it. that's some witchy shit. i guess i should become more optimistic too haha
00:10 wow that song is so 2018-2019 brought back weird memories
There’s a thrift store here in the UK where everything is less than £3 ( around 4 dollars) I swear half my wardrobe is from there 😂
what's it called if you dont mind me asking?
Where?!?! I don't have much to spend on clothes so that would be so helpful!!!
Loved this tutorial and made the shirt myself. Now I wear it with multi colored fishnets underneath for extra pizzazz. Thanks so much for the video!
Yessss! I love that! Fishnet looks so good peaking through the weave.
Life is short, buy the shoes.
Bought em :)

I'll have to try making one for my wife. Thanks for the tutorial. Oh, and thanks for taking us shopping with you. :)
I'm definitely going to do this DIY!
One question, how should I sew down the two snipped ends of the weave?
madeline mehok after you snip, put them through the hole like you're about to tie it but sew the snipped strip closed instead.
Angela Benedict Thank you!
when you put your leg in the sleeves it look pants legs, I think that style would good on a tight pants legs.
My absolutely favorite thing to do these days to all of my big clothes, even pants! I learned it from your first tutorial and kind of went nuts! Thanks for all of the help you have given us to let our creativity flow!
I'm gonna have to up the levels for you then! Do something a little crazy. I have some ideas
Yes ma'am! Am down for any ideas coming from you, these are super ventilated for summer!

Is anyone else reminded of a spider weaving a web while watching the crafting part... Awesomeness
Could you maybe do a DIY with studs or spikes involved? Love your videos!
Well this is a treat !!! 2 Angela videos in a few days ??? Great !!!!
Love that Christian Death shirt
I love the way it made the sleeves look. It's a little like an alligator/dragon skin pattern.
I did the same project with my kid and they loved it!
Finding this video 2 years after posting. Loving this! Getting my long sleeve boring black shirt out to style right now.
That looks so good. The Goodwill I go to always has a ton of plain black shirts, and I'm ready to cut some shirts!
Oooh, Happy weaving!
I remember your shirt designs on Etsy from a while ago!! It's crazy that I follow you on youtube now. 🦇

This was super helpful. Been trying to think about what I can do with used clothes that requires no sewing.
I love your videos . They are so interesting and my wardrobe goals.
I just made this and my shirt turned out super cute!! This was also a lot easier than I thought it would be. Great tutorial!! 🖤
I will definitely try that one! Probably without the neckline tho, but I absolutely love it on you, it really suits you!

Oh that looks so amazing on! I really want to try this but I'm afraid I'd mess up the pulling and twisting part...
You can try over and over again just so long as you don't commit to the final step of cutting and tying.
I love the front of this. I will be charity shop shopping this week in the hopes of finding a top I can do this to. Thank you for the tutorial.

This video is awesome in every single way. You just gave me an excellent birthday gift idea for my girlfriend. Also, what song did you use at the end?
Deep Poetic Society honestly sounds like a shoegaze band like Slowdive but not sure if it's them
Ozean - Scenic
