The equivalent of the Nike Cortez is the Onitsuka Corsair. The Cortez is a rebranded Corsair
Peeps: These shoes fit true to size. I don't know about the Nike Cortez sizing to the Mexico 66, as I forget my Cortez sizing, but get your regular sizing for these shoes. I'm a size 10.5 pretty much across the board for all boots, sneakers, and shoes, with some rare exceptions, and the 10.5 in the Mexico 66 is perfect for me. When ordering for the Mexico 66 get your regular size. I'm a 10.5 and the 10 is too small and the 11 is too long in the toe. If anything, you can size up, but it will look a little long in the toe. I can't get my foot in the 10s without taking the insole out, and even then it's really tight. Again, these shoes fit true to size. Just get your regular size.

@@ellasegura6874 No problem! These sneakers are narrow anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that. I have wider feet and these shoes are still true to size. :)
@@avenuePad Woah. I got confused because of what I found out online. They said the sizes are larger than the usual. Never tried them on when I go to stores which is why I had a hard time there. Gladly, I got my real size so I don't have to worry anymore.

Just bought some of these in this same color! I like the way you arranged your laces that the loops don't show/ you can see the tongue logo more!

Coming from shoes with a good amount of cushion, these kicks are just a little uncomfortable at first but you will eventually get used to them. There’s that ‘road feel’ that you may or may not like. But, men, these kicks are excellent shoes for driving and look so cool too!

Agreed. Not wearing this if we'll be walking a lot. Feet hurts after 1-2km of walk.
Ultimate 81 I've used for walking 5 miles no issues but my 66 I use less. Both are great for driving, especially manual cars.
My favourite shoe right here. But I wore it extensively for 4 yrs and got it to look very worn out.

Hello po, may I ask regarding the sizing. Same po ba sila ng Stan Smith? If I’m US8 in stan smith, US8 din po ba ako sa OT? Kasi po nasa tag ni STan smith is 25.5cm only, while kay OT is 26cm ang US8.

I bought recently an inch longer because all of my sneaker shoes I prefare half to an inch allowance because when I bought it Im wearing sports socks which is thick in the store I acquire there is no available 8 1/2 only 8 and 9 so I choose 9.What should I do shall I sell it or use it instead

@@mckohofficial7028 ignore it. All my Tigers have logos on the tongue and 81 has printed rear "Tiger" while 66 has Tiger on a flap and on the sole.

Mag true to size ka paps. Huhulma din sa paa mo 8.5 na OT. May stan smith ako 8.5, same fit profile sila. Pero best magsukat ka sa OT store para sureball.

9 ako Asics GL3, Airmax90 pagdating sa mexico 66 maluwag 9 sakin, baka nga 8 lang dapat, pero mukhang sasakto yung 8.5. Tama sila na half size down ka sa true size mo.

I wouldn’t recommend it for sports because physiologically we as humans have devolved so you want modern shoes to protect yourself. I personally tho don’t care and have worn them for camping, running, driving, biking, volleyball and have been fine
Well, these were originally for runners. If you have really good running form and are a forefoot striker then you could get away with these. You can buy modern minimalist shoes, but it's always recommended that you gradually adjust to the zero drop and minimal cushion. Forefoot running is very achilles and calf intensive and it can be a slow adjustment. But yes, you could run in these, though, like Red Ninja said, you're probably better off getting a more modern shoe. :)
If you want a onitsuka for sports, then I'd recommend the standard ultimate 81 model. It's very well renowned in the parkour/freerunning community and I love mine. They also hold up really well. I've had a pair for almost 6 years that I used to run 8+ miles daily, train parkour in, use as everyday beaters, and wear for weekend yardwork. They show their wear -- most notably on the sole as I've worn down to the midsole in multiple areas -- but I still wear them often. I highly recommend them!

Size 9us naka lagay dito pero dapat pala sakto na 8.5 kinuha ko. Sa nike 9 talaga ko.
