This video has saved me a lot of money as it allows me to do exactly what I wanted but without paying lots of money for a remote flash controller. Thank you very much, namaste.
i followed ur instructions and it worked with my sb 700 flash and nikon 7200 camera ..thanks for video and make more videos on flash related . thank sir.
I love you man. You made it simple and straighforward, with no messing about or trying to wow us with your knowledge. Thanks so much. This should be the top video on setting up commander mode.
honey j The pop up flash fires in low power mode: enough to trigger the remote but not enough to affect the exposure. That is why Tech Specs Ideas solution is so clever
Is there a difference with your flash when using a remote transmitter for off camera flash with the Nikon SB 700 versus setting up remote flash through the camera? I feel a little confused as I've read and was told that I need a transmitter for my off camera flash with my SB 700. I have a Nikon D850. Thanks for your help!
I have questions about this. I have the D850, and there is no built-in flash on the camera, so what option would I choose when you say to select Flash Control for built in flash. This option is not available in the menu. Thanks, Pete
I learned from another photographer that if you're using a Nikon D7500, the flash control setting is under the Photo Shooting Menu, NOT under the Custom Setting Menu. Apart from this difference, the instructions that apply to the D7200 camera also work for the D7500.
i like your instructions in the video but the video quality is too poor. could not see any menu on the LCD screens. To get better view for your channels, please consider using high quality video shooting like 4K

Thank you so much.
Really useful - I didn’t realise I could use remote flash without a special trigger. Thank you so much!
Thank you dear.
But pop flash is firing with this setting

Very easy and clear but short demonstrations. It will help much the photography experts, even the layman who are interested in camera and photography.
Thus was the clearest video and the easiest to understand. Thank you for your help.
Thanks a lot.
Excelllent! It saved me from buying a controller/receiver.
Thank you for you clear, uncomplicated instructions.

Ok I think I found my answer. The Nikon D850 does not have a build in flash so that's why I would need a transmitter?
