How to cite in IEEE Conference Template on Overleaf (Latex)

  • 1. Begin by creating a file named "references.bib."
    2. Remove the existing bibliography from your project and insert the following two lines:
    \bibliographystyle{ieeetr}
    \bibliography{references}
    3. Select the article you wish to cite from Google Scholar.
    4. Locate the double quotation marks that offer a 'Cite' option and click on them.
    5. Choose the BibTeX format and copy its entire content.
    6. Paste the copied content into the "references.bib" file within your Overleaf project.
    7. Copy the article's identifier; in this case, it is ‘wiseman2022autonomous’.
    8. Navigate to the section in your .tex file where you want to cite the technical article.
    9. Use the \cite{} command and paste the copied identifier within the curly braces.
    10. Save your document by pressing Ctrl+S, and your technical article citation will appear in the text. The references will be automatically generated at the end of your paper.
