When I was a child, my mother would play Erik Satie’s piano music to help me sleep. There is immense beauty in the simplicity of it. I hope this music helps you to relax after this stressful week of elections in the US! What piano music do you find the most relaxing?

I love Satie's Gymnopedies. I also like Yann Tiersen's Amelie soundtrack. That's brilliantly composed.

@@EdEditz That's another one of my favorites. I saw that movie as a 10 year old and immediately bought the score. I have played it ever since.

@@Eusebiuspiano Cool! I first heard that music in one of your videos before I even saw the film (I still have all your Willow videos in my archive :) In 2014 went to Paris and visited the film locations used in Amelie. I got a drink in the Deux Moulins. They have a little Amelie exhibition in the toilets haha. Been on the Canal St Martin and the carousel at the foot of Sacre Coeur. It was fantastic to see it all. There are some pictures I took here: www.flickr.com/photos/ededitz/albums/72157644698560761

I find Sorabji's pastiche on Hindu Merchant song one of the most relxing piano pieces (at least for me), but this piece is also really relaxing....

It's simple and chill but I never knew how to fully appreciate it. Still, good playing and nice shiny visuals!

Ahhh that’s a lovely story about your mum helping you to sleep with Satie 💗💗💗. I love your gloves! Love the visualisations....they have a very unique quality. 💜🙏🏼💜🙏🏼. I didn’t remember that they used this in the queens gambit. That was an awesome series wasn’t it!

This song makes me remember people whom I don't even know...such a unique interpretation...but I would still prefer this to be a little slow...just my feedback....other than that...this is brilliant❤️

Satie's music is so wonderfully different. It definitely has that Je ne sais quoi! The note texture was really cool on this one as well! Lovely job :)
