I know this is going to sound weird but I have developed the habit of praying in the bathroom at work. Allow me to explain... two years ago I never had a relationship with God, only when I had a big problem I would look for him. But for the last two years I have worked really hard to develop the habit of praying everyday and it started in the bathroom at work because that’s where I would watch Joel Osteen while I get ready for work. I have learned that he had favor for me because he has helped me meet some incredible people like for my interview show like David Meltzer, Patrick Bet-David and Evan Carmichael. God has favor over me!
Pray wherever you need to Carlos in the bathroom, in your car, wherever!!! Keep cultivating your relationship with Jesus. I even talk and pray while using my cell phone. ;-) God loves you the way He loves Jesus!

Lakewood is more than a church to me, it's rather home, a home where I find comfort and hope, Joel is not only a pastor to me but rather a Guardian angel from. God, a father and counsellor, every time am stuck in some kind of an impossible situation some how he always comes to me either through TV sermons or u tube sermons, and boom am always back to feet, am way down in Uganda East Africa but through these u tube sermons Joel has pastored through the most difficult times of my life.
What shall I say then to all these things, but to glorify the most high God, to thank Joel and Victoria for accepting to be used by God, and to the entire Lakewood family and the partners of Joel Osteen ministries, through your giving and prayers God's word and grace has found us in all the corners of the world.
