I am so happy for Al Roker that he is celebrating his 45th anniversary with NBC. I think the world of Al. He is a real gentleman, professional, caring, great husband to Debra, and father to this children. Hope he never retires he brings so much to the show. So positive about all things.

haha, if he wanted to he could retire right now. He is probably the only weather man in the country that actually has endorsements outside the company. He just loves his job and its hard to find a weatherman with his type of personality. If he wasn't a weather man , he probably would of been already replaced. Which is why he is the longest member thats been on the show.
