Just another aspect of your videos that I absolutely appreciate is your calm demeaner that we see on camera and hear in the audio. I try to do the same thing when I have frustrating rounds. Hell of a comeback. I used to game the lob wedge but I took it out as I can get the same result with my SW. I have less then a handful of good shots with the LW. Great video and can't wait for the next one.

Thanks G! Yeah still debating on the LW/SW but we will see 👍

Another great playing video. This is real golf, and is far more entertaining than watching someone hitting a ball into a screen in a simulator. Please keep up the good work.

Not bad!! You have a nice bump and run… but those 3 and 4 putts are killing you. Come over to Santa Cruz and let’s play Delaveaga sometime!

Another great video dude... Definitely check out Aim Point Putting and practice it along with measuring your back stroke with the putter so get your lags dialed in. This helped me go from a 90s scoring golfer to a 80's scoring golfer (and sometimes in the 70s). I know people think putter practice and chipping practice might be boring, but trust me, learning to read greens and building a feel for your putter / wedges around the green save you a considerable amount strokes. I rarely 3 putt anymore with very minimal amount of putting practice after I figured out my distances using a ruler and measuring my back stroke.

I had something similar happen to me the other day. Scored 49 on front and 39 on back. Just got to stay positive and keep grinding when we have these rough starts.

10 stroke swing from the front 9 to the back 9 let's go!

This was a cool video idea. Great work locking back in, dealing with the misses, and improving your putting.
Im about a year in and trying to consistently break 100. Ive done it my last 3 rounds, but the last one was a comeback. Started the round with a 52 on the front then finished with a 43 on the back. It all came down to putting better for me

9 stroke difference between the front and back is huge let's go!

Nice comeback. Sometimes I think starting off bad, or at least not exceptionally well, lowers our expectations and we start playing freely, great round!

Yeah for sure I totally get this! After the first few holes I was like "aight it's gonna be one of these days just have a good time at the least!"

I have found that breaking the round in to 3 six hole groups can hep with keeping a better mindset through out the round. Even if I have a bad couple holes at the beginning, I can put that away and focus on the next group of holes.
I also carry a 60 degree wedge with 6 degrees of bounce on it. For all the standard shots I will use my 56, but chipping off a tight lie, out of a bunker with firm sand (or no sand) and the most extreme of flop shots I will use the 60. Maybe I will use it 2-3 shots a round. If it had 12-14 degrees of bounce on it similar to the 56, I would find it much less useful.

Very popular strategy for sure! Can help compartmentalize the round for sure 🤙

I’m a 16 hc that lives in San Martin and practices at Coyote Creek a lot. If you need a playing partner HMU. I usually play at Pajaro Valley Golf Club.

On hole three, avoid the left cuz you'll never find your ball. Unless they recently cut it but that's like every 4 months.
