Would you do another video explaining the reactive part of the antenna impedance and how to compensate it. In other words how to get the antenna in resonance where expected and what about multi-band antennas?
I have what looks to be an antenna analyst kit in a pelican case. Having trouble identifying it. Could you look at some photos and maybe give me a direction to search?
The Comet won't work under the field of a radio station transmission. I bought one of Comet anaylers and it would not work, so it went back to Comet, and they eventually called me. In our conversation I mentioned the radio station that is a few miles from me. They promptly told HRO to take it back and give me a full refund. The meter can't work under the strong signal from a radio station. I really liked the design of the Comet, but as you know, Hams are usually using these at tower sites that are usually shared with other services, so that would be a problem. The MFJ works fine for me, so my guess is that it has better shielding with all that metal. Comet must use too much plastic.

I like the comet. But own the mfj269. The mfj offers more bang for the buck. If only the comet would have had the ability to test coax.
What's the name of the umbrella shaped antenna ?
Ground plane antenna. Both the radiator and 4 ground planes are 1/4 wavelength.
