- This Italian Sub Recipe is one of the best sub sandwich recipes. The meat is heated so it's a hot Italian sub. It has tons of meat, provolone and a homemade vinegrette made with fresh herbs.

Excellent video, super easy to make, and restaurant quality, delicious is the short story. I subed a few things, Italian dressing rather than making my own vinegarette dressing. Used diced cherry tomatoes because thats all I had on hand. Two layers of peperonni/hard salami/provolone, thats what I had in the frig. My wife said it was as good as any sub she's ever had. Thanks again for sharing your recipe/approach. Super easy, doesn't take long to make, and delicious.
Love your take on this and it came out great thx for posting
Nothing is better than a great Italian Sub love how you show all the small steps and great chef tips using the knife love the use of fresh oregano in the vinaigrette

Very Nice I know you'll probably get a lot of hate for the Mayo haha but it's your sandwich eat what you like I've been to places that make it with mayo and I was "Oh no they ruined it" but once I tried it it was actually pretty good would I order it every time no but I'm not hating it
Nice looking Sub, Devil woman....lol. Looks delicious!
If you're stuck on the mayo, make your own with the extra virgin olive oil.
That's a good idea! Thank you 😀
Lady. U are cutting the tomatoes the wrong way. Smh
Hmmm sandwidges... XD
Pulling your leg there, but this recipe looks yummy.
Never mayo. Evoo only. Works better, not hard to imagine and you keep it authentic.
Hmmm 🤔, I don't think I have had it with EVOO only. We always put mayonnaise. I will definitely give it a try that way though. What other changes would you make?
you don't like much lol. otherwise looked good
Sorry, not a true Italian sub. Always made cold and fresh off of the slicer.
Are you serious? Do you really keep loaves of deli in your fridge to be eaten fresh off the slicer. If you ordered an Italian sub from a pizzeria or deli, this is exactly how it would be prepared. Hot or cold.
@@drewjenn9819 Completely disagree. You mus t be from the East Coast, and not Chicago.
@@mikelocascio8695 Are you saying that you have never made an Italian submarine at home?
@@mikelocascio8695 Still waiting... Maybe you had an opportunity to think about how ridiculous you are. My next question is what constitutes a proper Italian submarine in your eyes?
@@drewjenn9819 High quality French/Italian bread, genoa salami, prosciutto, hot capicola, giardenera, soprassetta and mozzarella and Italian dressing.
Mayonnaise is a no no. Otherwise I'd eat it.
Hold the mayo for sure if you prefer it that way 😊....Do you put anything on the bread? Olive oil maybe?
Usually a liberal application of vinegar and oil on the veggies works it's way onto the bread.
Alright, I'm willing to give that a try....does the bread get soggy? I'm always trying to protect my bread lol.
. a little, but usually not that much
Cool, thank you, I'll try it without 😊 Have a great weekend!
lol eww...
