- Finnair Economy Comfort is a good option if you want to keep your costs low but would like a little more room as well as comfort than standard economy. Economy Comfort is Finnair's version of the Premium Economy Class, and I tested the Finnair Economy Comfort class, from Helsinki to Bangkok, and back, on 2 different trips, using Airbus A350 and Airbus A330. You can upgrade to an Economy Comfort seat for around $100 per flight and you can enjoy extra legroom, better headrests, wifi and more. Also, Economy Comfort seats are located in the first 4 to 5 rows of the Economy cabin, so you’ll have the convenience of being among the first passengers to board and exit the plane. In this video, I will be reviewing all the aspects of the Finnair Economy Comfort from boarding to landing. Will show you the actual seating, legroom and all other facilities you get like in-flight entertainment and the travel kit.

I always fly economy comfort with finnair. its really worth the money for the priority boarding and the noise canceling headphones and the extra legroom. Since everybody has alot of handluggage is really nice too enter the plane before them and take your time too settle in. i fly from amsterdam too bangkok many times.

Thanks for the report, intereresting for a BKK traveller, also on AY! My choice would be A350 and one of the ordinary Y class seats 42 A or L with a massive legroon, if just availble. Finnair has announced they will remove the Economy Comfort product and introduce a new Premium Economy class on all A350/330 aircraft by 2022. It looksThailand is an important market for Finnair, just schecked that next winter they'll have 22 weekly scheduled flights there, to Bangkok (16), Phuket (4) and Krabi (2).
Wow, that is good news I hope :) I will definitely try the Premium Economy, hope it will be reasonable priced :) Yes, I totally agree on the A350, my choice too. And thank you for mentioning the 42 A and L, I just found out about that seat, that is a great seat with a giant legroom :) I really like the airport in Helsinki too, easy to navigate, and not to long walk. HI, is that the equals of premium economy or is just an economy?
It is Economy with extra leg space, priority boarding, extra amenities.
Isn't better to buy exit row seat ?
Yes, it might be. On Finnair, that might be better, because their exit seat gives you a huge extra legroom. But it comes with a price, so it probably comes down to personal preferences. I haven’t tried this one yet, but will definitely try the Exit row seat on my next flight. So I will update you later on this one. The huge benefit with Finnair exit window seat, is that is kind of "locked in", meaning that people can't walk in front of you.
