    You speak for millions of us who want big Fender quality in a smaller and "quieter" package. Such a great review and refreshing approach that brought us in like we are talking to a bud. Thanks! mine comes tomorrow and oh BTW, I too got rid of a Princeton because it was too loud!

    I purchased this amp when they first came out and I LOVE IT ! Classic Silver Face Looks and the upgraded 10 inch speaker (was an 8 inches speaker) sounds great . This amp sounds great with any guitar or pedal . Don't let the size fool you . Just one thing to mention if you are like me that will change out the speakers to find the one you prefer there will be some challenge . The tube cage takes
    a lot of space and interferes with some speakers designs , you will need to eliminate the tube cage in order to put the speaker you choose . I had went and change out 5 different speaker and I went back to the original speaker it sounds great in this amp. Fender has been really hitting out the park with amps and guitars . I am a fan for life !! This took a Classic Silver Face Champ and took it to the next level .

      @@jessesmith2906 Hi Jesse I have tried many speakers and in order to do that you would need to remove the tube cage . The tube cage was fitted to go around the original speaker . Its the size of the magnet that makes the difference. Thanks for your advice.

    Add a Swart Night Light attenuator, and you can get all the cranked tone at really bedroom volume levels. I run one on my ‘57 Custom Champ reissue and it’s exactly the right solution. The naturally overdrive is SO much nicer than any pedal.

    Hello Maximillian,
    From how you are speaking i guess you are from germany,too? 😅 But i will write in english so others can understand, too. I am searching for a small tubeamp which sounds good at low volumes. And if i say low i mean low. I live in a flat for rent in nürnberg (old houses) with a lot of neighbours around me. It wouldnt bother me if i can not get tubedistortion at low volumes..for that needs tehre are overdrive and distortion pedals. But the tone has to be nice. I play mostly blues, classic rock and stuff from 70s 80s like joy divisionc cure etc. I am not able to test one of these in a store so can you please tell me if you think this amp will work for my needs volume wise? Greetings 🙂✌️

    • @JammerhakenTV
      @JammerhakenTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Mate, I guess this thing will please your needs...but actually right now, after some time that I had it I would say it really starts to sound the best after 5 and up and then it is not quiet anymore 😅 a friend of mine has a little tube amp from "Laney" it's the CUB 8 or 10, a little tube amp, that thing just rings like hell and I would say it sound better on very low volume than my vibro champ it has more bass which I like the fender can sound a little bit thin on very low, and the Laney is way cheaper...

    Thanks Man, For the Honest Video. very much appreciated. so many demo videos are LAME, and not truly honest. meaning, there using high end mike's witch won't give you a natural room sound demo, also there going through a dozen pedals or so ,witch also won't give you a true representation of the amp itself. so again, thanks my friend. fellow musician from America.

    Thanks so much for watching and appreciating my honest review, it's been a while now, and I still like this amp but I have an other one to really recommend, it's a small Laney Tube Amp from a friend of mine its way cheaper than the fender and does not suck at all, would you be interested in a comparison? And please subscribe!!! :)

      yes... I can vouch for that . That is one of the reasons I got one. Unfortunately, as much as I loved them- Princeton 65, Blues Jr, and Fender Pro Jr... just too loud and I had to end up letting them go. This and a Champ or a used Champ 600 reissue or even a used Vibro Champ XD are good tube alternatives - not to mention the Blackstar Fly - (all solid state) are good for flats or apartments. But the 68 Custom Vibro Champ is my fav.
      All the best-

      @jensschettler1732 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cmkilcullen8176 thats the point. I use the new 64 hw princeton now cause i love the tone. But this vibro champ is basicly all you need. And it depends on what you playing. I just play clean and play with people using upright bass, accoustic guitar and a smal drumset an no singing mics. But that is exactly what i want to do nowadays. Not too loud. Just good tone, gpod people and a nice athmosphere and good Whisky. In the past i played big marshall amps and 7 different guitars in loud bands. Nowadays all i need and all i have is my strat and a spare one if a string break and my princeton. A chord and a tuner. No pedals, no nothing. But i finally found my tone. It was a jard expensive long journey.
      I am so fine with that. It is so nice to just restrung one guitar and take care of just one nice instrument. In the past i have allways the problem that i have to play all my instruments in some way cause they cost money and i have to do so. The same with pedals. I habe to use this awesome delay pedal in this song caise i payed for it. But the song would be better without it.
      Just limit myself to just own one good guitar no pedals and just one good amp is the greatest freedom i felt in a long time. It travels bezter with light luggage...

      nicely done.
      as it should be, all in the name of humor. it's at times astonishing how hypersensitive some people are, champing at the bit to snap at the slightest thing they feel offended by - often where no offense really exists. Or they're just humorless trolls who must be living hateful lives. Pity.
      Enjoy the video and review. Such observations help others to glean from the most data what they can find to be valuable to them.
