Hey Sarah, I planned to visit Cartagena next month and was little concerned whether I should cancel or not due to the news. Did you have any concern for safety at all while you were there? I am already thinking about canceling. Do you have any advice?
I think from what I see people are still traveling there and if you are careful and pay attention to news it can help inform you but at the same time the tourist areas of Cartagena are usually pretty safe. I felt safest in places like the coffee region.
What’s your number one fear about the trip and situation
Do you still need a Covid test to go?
Not to re enter to the USA if you are a citizen. I think otherwise you need to check on state department website. It always changes.

@@yeabuddy567 There is no requirement for a test when entering Colombia for fully vaccinated arrivals. Those with at least one vaccination can enter if they have a PCR test with a negative result taken within 72 hours or antigen test no older than 48 hours. But just do some research before you go so you know what is current
