I could feel a real memory being made here between these two characters, one that manifested itself in the player and made it feel like it was your memory as well. All a product of great voice acting and excellent character development.

I mean, Tidus just found out that his father was Sin and had just killed those people in Kilika. Then Yuna told him to laugh even during that somber moment, of course he had to force out that painful laugh. I would have laugh for 2 seconds before my major cry lol.
