Kes baby you may not have won the title.. but you sure won our hearts ❤❤❤ 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
correct
Trini Girl I thought he was sayine "we survived atlas" but his actually saying "with Savannah grass" hmm what's that🤔? is that a special type of grass in TNT or is he talking bout a place? we Survived atlas sounded better, I think
@@chooky7672 not sure about your question..do want to know if the lyric says Savannah grass or survived atlas??
Trini Girl I now know it says savannah grass. I just wanted to know if savannah grass is a place?
@@chooky7672 well he's singing about our Savannah .. it's the biggest roundabout in the world.
Usually it's the center of activities for carnival in Trinidad. And to answer the question.. Yes it has grass.!!!

I have played this at least 50 times today. I am in love!!! I am planning a picnic for Soca music. Gonna wear my shortest shorts and vibe with the music super loud! And yes, Kes the Band is ALL over that playlist.
Very reminiscent of David Rudder vibes. This song is a pure classic that will live on for generations. Love it. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

I am so happy a very special person from my past who made me a better person was from Trinidad and turned me into Soca. Smile everytime I hear Kes
Carnival 2019, my 1st in Trinidad ...I watched Kes perform 4 times during my visit....and each time his energy remained the same.....INFECTIOUS!
Kes' Fete (Tuesday on the Rocks) will always hold a special place in my heart as the tribute to his dad, at the end in a video collage, made me cry BIG tears and 😭 and I wasn't alone.... these were tears of love and happiness. Kes IS love!❤
Savannah Grass didn't win road march but for all those that attended WE KNOW THE TRUTH!
I grew up with Carnival all around me and seeing these flashback images and videos stirred up so many happy childhood memories. From kiddies Carnival to adult mas, the music, the visuals, the people, the vibe. No one truly understands the power of the Savannah Grass and the stage unless you've been there. Thanks for spreading your creative wings and putting out this song Kes the Band!
And I will be crying while crossing that stage. Thanks for making me cry in the ppl fete already. If yall aint hear this 1. LIVE 2. On LOUD Speakers what you really telling yourself.......Savannah Grass is one of the soca hymns to go down in history. It has so much significance and 2019 soca is giving us soooo much hope for this artform. It isn't going NOWHERE. I love you Kes & KTB one family!!
This song is wicked!!! The video bring back so much memories. Love my Trini culture to bad.... Thank you Kes for the good vibe.🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
When I saw this vidéo tears filled my eyes. Seeing what I knew as Carnival as a child is no more. St.Clair is where I used to go to meet the J'ouvert truck to play myself. He is reminding us of where and what we came from as Trinbagonians as our culture and Tradition is DYING. This tune deserved Road march for me. People say times changing but it's not true the Sun rise and set is still the same but people want to change their mind set. But please people keep our culture alive because it's DYING 😢
My godfather is from Trinidad. He tells me about it all the time, tells me stories of his childhood and family.. one day I will go there and honour his memory, and experience Trinidad for myself. He's at the end of his journey here on Earth. Long live soca
Every single I hear this song I get so emotional
With goosebumps all ova
i thought it was just me
