A lot of these retail lots really make me think of small town New England or the pacific northwest. It's so incredibly... REAL. I kept thinking that I'd seen stores and storefronts like that IRL. I'm definitely going to check this out, but I feel like I'd have to have a Sim or Story that is really specific and 'real' enough that it fits in with the feel of the world. Its beautiful for sure though!
The skating rink got me! We have one in my hometown, with lazertag and an arcade and food counter. About a block away is our bowling alley and pub. I can't wait for you to build a skating rink, please!!
I can't get this to work? I downloaded it and placed it into my save file folder, it didn't change windbrook, still looks the same? Did i do something wrong?

If i start playing in this save and then the 3.0 save comes out and i install it, do i lost the family that i was playing in save 2.0? because technically is going to be a new save right?
I hate a save file when houses are empty. I buy a house for my sim to move into, only to have bought a shell of a home. then they have no money left to furnish. the least builders can do is tag UNFURNISHED in the name of the lot. ugh.
Yeah, not a fan of the exterior of the builds. They're boring. Especially the one colour siding for an entire building and the big rectangles with one roof (that I feel are a tad too flat, as well). And I think the no pillar corners also make them seem kinda unfinished. When I play the sims, I don't want realistic boring building exteriors. As a side note, nothing there is "hyper realistic". Maybe realistic. Hyper realistic would mean you can't tell the difference between what is there and a high resolution photo.
