The Ultra Luxe is just what Fender should’ve released last year with a cost increase. It’s mind-blowing that their Squier line could be so competitive, while the Fenders are so absurdly priced compared to the competition.
Fenders are the best value for money from the big brands. The Player series is fantastic. The new line this year gives features we wouldn't have imagined in sub 1000 ever. The day Fender starts offering replacement necks that are Roasted with SS frets will be a good day

Love stainless steel frets!!!! For the first time I won’t be forced to refret my strats with stainless steel frets on day one!!! BTW I also had a Masterbuilt with the brand new stainless steel frets option ;) BTW so cool to have this quality for less than the price of a Suhr or MusicMan!

Gibson has to counter with the double floyde! A floyde at the headstock, so when you pull up on both bars your strings dive bomb extra hard. Call it the Gibson Stuka, with 400's in the neck and 800's in the bridge, lb Pounder pickups.
@@Myfukinusername They should try no veneer on their headstock, go bear, maybe burn in the Gibson logo with cattle prod, call it the steakhouse special, beef fiber loin tops in your choice of medium, rare or well done. The aging on the beef tops should be superb. Loaded of course with mash potatoe pickups butter in the bridge and garlic in the neck, rich gravey fretboard with mushroom inlay with boneless nut.
I LOVE that golden Anniversary Strat! I just love that it's almost too much bling! Don't have that kind of money, especially for a guitar, but as I said, I really like it! :D
Fender added roasted necks to its Charvel range years ago. Sure, they're later with SS frets, but at least they're now available on guitars people actually want.
I hope the stainless steel fret fad ends soon. I don’t like the way they sound and feel against nickel frets. To me stainless steel frets feel like I have fret buzz even if I don’t if that makes any sense.

Eager to hear (and check out) a Squier Contemporary Special Strat....just have to figure out which color I want. Love that sky metallic burst, but the black with that pickguard.....choices, choices. I'm interested to hear the switching options to see if they are different enough to add a 4th strat to my collection.
I LOVE that sunburst floyd strat. Amazing. Also glad they're doing more guitars with the slightly shaved neck heel, that should be a feature on every Fender apart from the AVRIs and vintage stuff. I hate the square joint on my Fenders with a passion.

A Floyd Rose on a Telecaster body will always look weird and awesome to me, and it looks like Fender is trying to get that Les Paul Jr crowed with that p90 Tele I see :^)
I want that Noventa Telecaster so badly. Perfect blend of Esquire and Les Paul Jr Huge Leo Fender stan and I finally got my first real Fender last year (Lead 2) Was a bit disappointed with QC and pickups but I sort of expected that. Just hoping Fender’s P-90’s sound good since it’s my favorite pickup
I definitely prefer this new lineup For the past like 5-7 years i feel like there's been way too many tiers and i could never tell what was new or old or a re-release lol This new lineup reminds me a lot more of the early 2010s where you had MIM, Highway One, American Standard, and uber professional. There's a price bracket for everyone without a lot of crowding at the higher end. Now to justify buying some... 😂
The new Suhr lite line by Fender. Loathe the painted headstocks...that alone will keep me from buying any of these. Wish it was only a few with matching/painted headstocks honestly. Give people a choice. Sure, it'll probably come later on in 2023..."New Fender w/SS frets and NO HEADSTOCK PAINT! WOWZERS!" 😆😆

It's all about the pickups, amps, speakers and the player itself. In recording, mic placement as well. Tonewood is almost irrelevant for electric guitars.
With the single bridge pickup,,, wouldn't the Noventa tele technically be a Noventa esquire? Regardless, this new lineup is pretty sick, even if it's not totally my thing. That walnut Jazzmaster does look sick tho 👀

$2,400 just made everyone want to find out more about PRS. For me, it makes me want to think about a Gibson Les Paul Modern. Just sayin'.

I like the tele with the Floyd. I also like how they kept the traditional electronics placement for it. I wish it came a few different colors though.

I think that Fender has game changing guitars coming out for this year. It would be unique to see Gibson bring back the RD guitars.
