The Police! They left on top, with arguably their best album, "Synchronicity". I really wish they made more albums.

I really wish we would have gotten at least one more album from Alice In Chains before Layne died.

Yeah, there was a 6 year gap from the time Unplugged was released until Layne’s death, so there was plenty of time to put together more music. Unfortunately I think Layne’s demons got in the way of him being a productive member of the band those last few years.

Some great choices! Hard to capture them all, especially some of the 90’s bands.

    The Police
Loved that 4 Non Blondes album and would have loved some more from them.

But of a weird choice, maybe, but I would have loved more from Shiny Toy Guns

I'd say Guns N' Roses after Use Your Illiusion and Led Zeppelin. Both were at crossroads when the bands ended.

I felt sad thar John and Paul didn't work out their personal and business differences and collaborate together again

Oh man, Sublime is such a great choice (and one that should have been included).

Screaming Trees for sure, even though Lanegan released a lot of solo and side projects… and Nymphs with just one album

Next time do bands that should have retired and are now just trading on the name some have only one original member left

There are only two bands that ended too soon, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
How strange it is that their predemise discography mirrors the other.
It is heartbreaking that RUSH ended like they did , but they went downhill after the tragedies suffered by Neil... understandably.
We all have our differences of opinion, but with all due respect the bands you referenced, outside of Led Zeppelin, are complete garbage.
The bands from the nineties will be a mere footnote in the annals of music history.... excitements over people, return to your normal lives, nothing to see here.
