    Fun fact: Hawai'i is the only place on Earth where these sea turtles haul out onto beaches to bask in the sun.

    Wouldn't it make sense that they're drying out the alge on their shells? It'd not only decrease the amount of live alge but also make it more difficult for the alge and barnacles to stay stuck on and thus more would get eaten by the fish or knocked off.

      Look at the big brain on April... I'd also argue that they are social animals and just feel safer in company (numbers)

    The males come ashore to escort the females because they have what's called the "Aloha Spirit" 😍🤙💖
