If the passionate one of the infinite is a god of our being, then this deity, must also be ie like a father, and so the father says to his children that he shall chastise them and could bless them, but it depends on his righteousness, not their own, they are only children, but as the Amida is compassionate then that child must grow up and take this responsibility through the wisdom of turmoil and through his or her experience of suffering on this planet, to harmonize with the cosmos. Is it not the mature son and follower of Amida buddha in this light perfected?
