I have worked in Aviation and soooo glad at what Capt. Gaurav is doing. Many employees have tolerated a lot , no words for it, Indebted to this man for the massive action he has taken. The price he is paying is huge, we all should support him.

What you say is correct but it still takes an enormous amount of guts to take on an organization like Air Asia. The fact that he is not flying aircraft is punishment indeed, for him. Also, the You Tube platforms that he owns now were not handed over to him on a silver platter. It is his hard work, ingenuity and skills that have made him a popular You Tuber with so many millions of followers. He created that stream of income which may have made his decision to go against the airline easier. It is very easy to criticize someone for their actions but very hard to go against the grain and stand up for what you believe in.

During lockdown such unfair things happened to many employees working in smaller companies too. I know staff working in a reputed hospital in Mumbai who were only given 5-10% of their salary. I feel everything has a positive side and a negative side to it, the pandemic showed the world which organisations and companies truly cared for their employees. I've heard several cases where employers behaved truly heartlessly. People who have faced such such issues will now think twice before joining such companies which show an utter lack of sensitivity and humanity. It's better to be self employed even though it may pay a bit less rather than be a slave to such organisations. You have done a service to millions of people by speaking about your personal issue publicly and this will definitely instill a positive change. Good going, Gaurav Sir.

Hi Gaurav,
I did the same mistake while booking ticket to travel back from Shirdi to Hyderabad long ago(didn't remember date now). I booked the ticket (train). Train departs from the the station @00:01. I didn't notice that the date got changed because train arrival was 11:59 (only 2 minutes stops at the station). Technically date got changed for the reservation. I was booking through irctc. I didn't notice that I got the ticket for next date of my actual travel date. It was 2nd AC ticket. On the travel date in night, the ticket checker came and told me "you are travelling without ticket because the date you should travel was yesterday night, not today". I paid the full ticket + penalty. We were three family members traveling that night. Just one minute mistake that costed me a lot.

Always add as much details to ur mail/letter as possible so that even if there is a minor error it could be understood...For eg. If Gaurav would have added the flight details he was supposed to fly then the employee reading that mail would understand that this could be an error....
