Villains gotta be badass to fight Goku lol. But yeah it's also why Vegeta is a much more interesting character than Goku; cause he's flawed and has done some very wrong things
Goku flaws are his lack of inteligence,he is too nice to villains and erm....he doesnt even seem to care too much about family (except for one time when zamasu with black told him what they did) he is unrealistic Now,vegeta is very likeable,he is not only intreasting but also relistic with his flaws and quirks,but with his virtues and personality I honestly also find vegeta stronger than goku lol (dont touch my bulma! Off the top of my head, I know Trunks & Beerus have short blockstun. Trunks should also be able to help you get a combo into Blades. Beerus would probably be super strict tho, if it's even possible. I'll check in a little bit
Going off the in-game frame advantage: Frieza (23), Trunks (14), Krillin (19), Buu (20), 16 (22), Vegeta (18), Broly (21), Vegito (19-21), & Videl (21) all have shorter blockstun than Gogeta (29), and are shorter than or around the same as Tien (20). All you need in order to be able to combo into Blades, is to do: *in heaven's flash* M > Blades For that part, assist isn't necessary if you can cancel into it using orbs (Wall of Light). Also, you can't be on the ground or too high off the ground to do it this way. Now to get orbs active, you're probably gonna need an assist either mid combo or mid block string. You can actually use the combo in this vid @ 2:44 with Vegito assist to combo into Blades. Just use the new ending I described here

I use ssj goku and goku black, 2 beams helps a lot not only to continue the combo but also his blade is pretty slow so using an assist is also fine even without a combo

I got a full time job and the videos take me a while to make, so I ended up spending so much time making these videos that I don't actually "play the game" anymore. Hi, can you explain to me how you did the Vegeta Blue dunk into Zamasu assist? After the 2M, 5M, 2S I can't connect the dunk. Also what would be a good addition to vegeta blue/zamasu?
It was actually 5M, 2M, 5S and this video was also before Bluegeta's dunk got a buffed assist window, so it should be easier now. More practically, you should just do 2M, 5S. Honestly, that depends on what you want to do, but I think Blue (Goku) would be good both cause he's a good character and has decent synergy with Bluegeta; then you'll have unfused Vegito and Zamasu on the same team. Really any assist aside from like Krillin, 18, or beams (midscreen) would help combo wise, and neutral wise just depends on what you want.
Zamasu also has a lot of synergy with the other fusions too (double supers all around lol). You should check out the ToD video for a couple ideas if you haven't already
Lmao I have no idea how I read that combo completely wrong. Makes sense now. I've actually been thinking about Goku Blue but I don't know how to utilize his assist properly. I want to give it a try tho, Kamehameha and Galick Gun DHC is too hype.
Lol it's cool. I agree the crossed beams DHC is ridiculously hype. As an assist tho Blue has a decent amount of Blockstun, and combo wise he's really interesting. Bluegeta is a character that likes to stay on the ground to finish combos and doesn't have a sliding knockdown. Well... Blue assist is the only assist in the game that gives you a sliding knockdown (without using up the 1 per combo you normally can do with any character), and he can bring people back to the ground in general. Ideally I wanna do a big bang followed by Blue assist and then a combo, but I haven't tested it because I haven't focused on either character yet... that's awkward lol, but hopefully I can try it soon.
So how do you get the orbs and flight together? Seems like you do it instantly. I do quarter circle back and the hold back and square to activate the orbs in flight mode. You do at the same time.
Yeah the best way I can describe it is like you're canceling flight mode with orbs. The same way you cancel a normal button into a special, you cancel flight into orbs. Sometime tomorrow I should be able to record it with inputs up.
That light hit only worked cause I had the right timing and the right position Any combo with the orbs is somewhat strict because you have 2 things to worry about: 1) time the hits according to the orbs release 2) be in the right position (relative to the opponent) to get both hits of the orbs. So for combo 5 I focused #1, and #2 kinda fell into place.
Off the top... I'm pretty sure Zamasu's assist goes fullscreen, so with good timing you can use it to do a combo off of M choo-choo (Lariat Express lol) without spark or vanish. Broly's assist is great for combos, so I'm sure you can get some nonsense using him with Zamasu. I can't test it right now, but I'm pretty sure this Zamasu and Cooler combo I have on my Cooler part 2 vid @ 1:55 will work with Broly's assist.

Then continue with whatever button u want to press. As long as the hitstun window is still active (the yellow bar) whatever button you press will continue the combo, or "keep them there". For that first specific combo, I did: M>M(or 2M)>S>H>SD(or H again)>jLL>jMLLSSS>qcfL>air super 1
you can do either of them, then simply wait until after recovery to do the other. I think flight kinda cancels into orbs so it's slightly faster than doing it the other way around... not sure tho
Also how do you get zamasu to keep flying at the beginning? I already know the flight cancel into orb but idk how you continue to stay in the air doing it
@@RaijinOG for some reason refreshing his orbs also refreshes his flight while he's in the air. so wait until the orbs disappear, do a move that can cancel into orbs (I do j.S), then it just refreshes both and you can stay in the air forever (or until you block/get hit)
Maybe Trunks? He's got an assist that let's you tick-grab off Zamasu's autocombo, and that's always a nice option to have. Also he has sold damage and mixups solo. Vegito for most of the same reasons. His c-assist can help with tick-grabs. Plus those 3 are from the future Trunks super arc
I'm not sure if I'd make another full video because Zamasu still works in the same way generally, but I could definitely do individual clips involving assists by request. I put those up on Twitter usually, but when I get enough to make a full video then I'll put those up here too

After a lvl3, or setting up Blades, or using assists, it's pretty easy to set up wall of light. From there a mixup can get them open on the 1st button. The combos are examples anyway, you could always do shorter versions. For example you could catch someone with fM (6M) and a Gotenks assist. Easy wall of light set up then full combo with the orbs up. You could also do Burst then put up orbs and do a full combo.

Zamasu has a great assist that can help just about any character, but Broly really has a hard time getting decent damage.

Gohan (T), Krillin, & Yamcha are all fun and I have stuff for them here. All of them can also benefit from a beam assist

Ground L Autocombo, then continue with jL autocombo. Autocombo does mysterious things with lots of characters, and Vegito is 1 of them
