Cancer in the 11th house here. I have my sun in Leo and I am usually a very happy being a public person, sharing my life and being in the limelight. Ever since Mars went retrograde in cancer all I want to do is hide from the world and avoid social gatherings. I even had the most low key holiday season. To the point where I didn’t even call my mother 😹 hermit mode on for no logical reason. I just been over it all and everything and anyone. I didn't have any new people or conversations come into my life over the past several years, and I tried to make new connections. Quite the opposite; there was lots of death and loss which continues. Lost friends, family, and all three of my cats in the past 16 months. Now I realize that I must leave the US if I ever want to own a pet again; basic veterinarian costs are now astronomical, like health and dental for humans, and just as bad quality wise. I love my home and neighborhood, but all this corruption and greed makes it impossible to continue on in the US. But I still have no idea where to go from here. Hoping for some enlightenment soon!

Yes, this feels such a long time coming. I have had so many revelations and things I have let go of. It’s a balance of course, because we just can’t lose ourselves in the horror of the world either. We all have a role to play here, and forgetting the importance of spiritual life should never be something to toss to the side due to radical political change. We all need things to cope as well, and getting inspired by things in life that are also very real and valid for us to be happy. I encourage those who are called to action to do so, but for many of us, consuming ourselves in the madness won’t help anything get better on a community level. Bypassing is a very specific thing involving ignorance, tuning into our greatest potential physically and spiritually, will only help the world and those we care about in the end.

We have to be very careful of not engaging in spiritual bypassing with Venus/Neptune. We can't afford to tune out with the current state of the world.
