Patching Xiaomi Essential electric scooter. Increasing Speed Limit to 30 km/h

These are zip files. Do not extract them.

Patch I've applied on my Xiaomi Essential scooter with characteristics as in this video:
- KERS deactivated
- Charging mode disabled
- Starts from 2km/h
- Cruise Control from 3 seconds
- Normal speed 5/20/25 KM/h
- Turbo mode: 30 KM/h

In case you downloaded zip file and you can not select it from application(it can be shown in grey color and not selectable) then once it is downloaded on your phone - modify the name of this downloaded file to anything else(you can delete any letter - it just needs to be modified). And then go again to the application and select the file - it should be selectable now. Once again - do not extract file - download it as a single zip file.
Today I'm going to patch Xiaomi Essential scooter. The main reason - is to increase the speed limit. By default the maximium speed limit is 20 km/h.
Small disclaimer - if you do it on your own - take the risks with you. Remember that you can damage your scooter while patching it. I will attach the patch link below this video. While patching nothing should interfer the process. The batteries on the phone and on the scooter should be charged. The phone should be located close to the scooter through all the process without disconnection of bluetooth.
So let's get started. This is the screenshot of the parameters of the scooter.
The application used is: downG by CamiAlfa
First you will need to download zip file with the patch. The link to zip file is below.
I'm using zip file with below patches:
- KERS deactivated - meaning there is no recuperation of the energy when breaking or going downhill
- Charging mode disabled. As I understand - this will allow to add an external battery so when an external battery is connected - the main battery will not see it as a source of power from regular socket. Also there will be no percentage shown on the display while charging the scooter.
- The start of the scooter will hapen once it is going 2 km/h
- Cruise control starts after holding 3 seconds the accelerator
- Normal speed for 3 regimes is 5 km/h; 15 km/h; 25 km/h.
- Turbo mode is up to 35 km/h. Turbo mode can be activated only while turning on the scooter. You have to press breaks and at the same time push the power button to turn the scooter on. This will turn on the scooter with power mode enabled.
Please remember increasing the high speed means your battery will drain faster, the distance you go will be shorter and the life span of the battery will be shorter as well.

İt is not connecting to the mi home app anymore but ita working, i am around 130 kg, and withm me on flar roas ita macing around 16 km do you know how i can make the motor powerfull
I think only by changing scooter or by adding another external battery pack which is an overhead. I would switch to more powerful like dualtron mini

How to disable the turbo mode
Turbo mode is very good the modes speed is the same but the acceleration first mode is more slower then original scooter acceleration the drive mode is normal and the sport is crazy on Xiaomi 3 it goes 35km/h

Try downloading 'm365 tools' application from play market. There is an option to enable/disable cruise control from that application. Usually when you start breaking cruise control will be off immediately while riding
The app doesn’t find my scooter
The app won't connect to my scooter.
It shows not charging do i have to repair drv and charge and then do the hack everytime i want to 30kph ?
The display does not show the charge? If there is a red light on the charger - it means the scooter is charging. The display will not show the percentage of the current charge.

I downloadad all 3 files and all of them are gray and wont me press them
You have to download zip file. The 3 files are located in one zip. Just download whole folder, not one by one

@@mootjeahmad3476 as I stated above. Rename the zip file with application like file manager. Just remove the first letter. It will give the write permissions to the zip files and then it will become selectable from the application

I don't think you can revert back everything unless you will know for sure you are installing original patch. Is hard to answer the question as there are different models whic should have its original software
My friend tried to remove the trim on his electric scooter by zipping the same files again but finally it just bricked and he asked if I could help but not sure how (used xiaoflasher and can't connect to mi home anymore.) Also tried zipping the files a third time time but it never let me zip. Please help if you can reply if you want more details

The files are zipped already. When you download them - select the option to download all files as zip, not one by one.
What is your scooter model and which patch did you apply? Can you connect to Bluetooth ?

Sorry for late reply. There are links attached to zip files. Those links are specified in the description. You can choose the link you want to upgrade the scooter. Just be sure your model is Xiaomi Essential
Just did the update, problem that i can't get the power off. Update yet or anyone knows what to do?

I done the same process folowed step by step completed 100% and done but the speed still did not changed. I still have 20kmh on s mode instead of 25kmh. So, i am very dissapointed.

How do i turn on turvo mode
Turn off the scooter. Press the break lever and turn it on. The turbo mode should activate
does anyone know how to go back to normal speed on the scooter? without unlimitid speed?
I've shared the default settings in my comments. I did not patch it with my scooter. However i suppose it should revert back to original settings. Just to keep in mind that your scooter has to be Xiaomi Essential model.

If I will have time. But the main thing is to download the correct zip file (which is default in description) and then to patch the scooter as described in video. Just selesct a different zip file I attached in comments

do you hold the power button for 7 seconds when trying to turn it off? I did not hear about such problem before. Do you have Essential model?
@@vincentcyprus It turns off for a moment and then turns on again by itself. Even though I tried to press it for a long time, it won't turn off. What could be the problem, any ideas?? Yes, Mi Electric Scooter Essential.

How do I charge the scooter
Regular through the socket.
Put on 350 w motor and battery more ;) u will see
The current motor is ok. The batteries on essential are about 5100 mah only. Which is obviously not much.

in the description there is default patch - for resetting. I did not apply it. However it should work fine. Named "And just in case the default (patch previously applied will be reseted):". Check the description to this video
