Oh how I adore this Town’s song that is the epithet on his grave stone: To Live’s To Fly, just the way he sang it. So grateful for Emmylou Harris recording his songs back in the 70’s, she introduced me to Townes when I fell deeply in love with “Pancho and Lefty”. I don’t like that on the duet with Don Williams, he changed the verse on If I Needed You, from Lupe and Lill Agree, She’s a Sight To See, to some drivel…
