It would be great to have a "Introduction to Niagara" tutorial playlist just like the "Introduction to Cascade". Niagara looks amazing but it takes ages to figure things out without a solid understanding of the basics. Or maybe it's just me being stupid.

This is most definitely a problem on UE4 in general. There is too little documentation & training videos in general so that we dont even know how to use most features properly.

@@HuanLeVuong sure, what kind of idiot would need a tutorial about a complex software like unreal engine. there is manual right there.. all those educational companies, schools, web sites are useless anyway. there should be just manuals..

@@HuanLeVuong I think Unreal Engine does a lot having to put out a well documented layout of how to use the features in each engine version. Its just the tutorials are the cookbooks and the documentation are the multiple recipes. Everybody wants to know how to make something but not many people want to know the different ways to approach.

Yeah, I'm trying to follow along for the Virtual Production primer but I think I'll have to do some documentation research later to get this going.

Unreal Engine is the one thing Epic does well, having tried so many other game engines because the visual editing was not appealing to me, I now wish I had changed sooner. Please keep up the great work on the engine.

Using modular building to avoid re-constructing FX is what sells me on learning Niagara. Should be a lot easier for scalable abilities for example.

Can't wait to actually have some tutorials. Even the content example assets for Niagara have a lot of assumed pre existing knowledge about the Niagara in general.

God, I pray they continue to work on and evolve fluid simulations. Fluid simulations from my understanding are SO complex and require millions of calculations to simulate realistic water physics in video games, and it's been lacking in games for SOOO long. Hopefully sometime during this new generation we'll finally see realistic fluid physics and simulations in video games. I'm talking battles at sea with giant sea monsters, realistic water spells, throwing grenades in rivers and the water reacting to the environmental physical changes in the game, etc. Not to mention just making regular environmental visuals like rivers, streams and waterfalls look so much more realistic and interactable. There's so many fun and beautiful things you can do with realistic water physics and simulations in video games, I just hope they keep pursuing it! :\

Before watching this, I didn't know there is a grid2D and simulation stage in UE4.25. Is there more tutorial or examples to explain how grid2D or simulation stage work? That would be very helpful!!

Is Niagara still selecting a brand new value every frame when you use random values in Particle Update? This is one thing which turns me off instantly when I try Niagara because I need to tediously create a new random parameter in Particle Spawn just to be accessed from Particle Update.

@@jadrianmc3420 @JadrianMc The more abstraction you add the harder it is to find the truth. Question is whether you want to find the truth or want to be told what is what.
Do you want to know how AC electricity work?
What is the role of electrons?
Do you want to know how Integrated Chips works?
      What is object code?
      What is assembly code?
      What is kernel?
      How does C language work?
      What does language mean?
      What is abstraction?
      How much abstraction is good?
C++ is good enough abstraction to have a global view of what is going on and do things faster.
C is better abstraction that does not hide away important stuffs but it takes time to achieve things in C.
C# is too much abstraction. Full objected oriented is a mess. It is also proprietary Microsoft. It hide other smaller abstraction. It runs over .NET framework.
Higher abstraction is good for corporation, not for everyday people making less than $1 million a year. (Do you even make that much?)
      Choose your path.
