    Speaking of mail and paper. A secretary once taught me “Never handle a piece of paper twice. Finish it, file it, throw it away.” I’m retired now, however, I still follow her advice at home.

    Bed rules in our home , pull back cover covers airing out night time smells. Then make after getting yourself free from night smells. 👍🏻😆👍🏻

      It's hard for me to understand people still make their bed just after getting up. Air the room, air the bed and then you can make the bed again is what was done in my childhood home.

    The discard box is great! I have a drawer where I put stuff that I am selling. We live in the city and we keep a cardboard box with a "for free" sign right where our bikes are (we use them daily for commuting). Whenever this box gets full I put it on the side of the road for a few hours. Usually everything is gone when I bring it back in. It's even easier than donating!

    The best part of your video has to be that adorable little smile your little one showed. So cute!!!

    Cable clutter is an issue I need to tackle. I moved my tv recently, but left my cable organization box in the old area next to my bed so it is now exposed. Nice quick weekend activity for me to do this weekend :) Thank you for all your great content and tips!

    To be honest 99% of videos annoy me
    They are repetitive
    and voices drive me crazy
    And people are so intense
    This video was beautiful
    Your voice is beautiful
    I appreciate the advice so much
    I am clearly a new fan

      I used to watch many different channels related to decluttering, but they were so spontaneously filmed without any order. I stayed to watch your channel every single week. I look forward to your next episode every Tuesday and it's super relaxing and also satisfying to see how much work you put into every single video. It's obvious that you needed time to think about how it's gonna look like. The music is calming, the colours you use in each episode are soft. Your voice is not irritating and you speak so clearly. I needed to write all those things here after seeing that comment above. Greetings from Poland!

    Great video and awesome tips. 😊
    My home has a open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. You basically see everything the moment you walk in through the front door. I do try really hard to keep everything to a minimum and free of clutter as best I can with three kids. It feels like a full time job though. 😅

    When you realize what birds deposit outside you'll always take your shoes off at the door.
    For the rest, I literally LOL'ed, looking around the tornado path of my own space and matching each area with Chez Mia!
    I see clutter and interior design as the peak of a tall mountain I'd like to climb one day...
    Mostly I walk up a few clutter 'hills' each week, satisfied that I'm not endangering my life from bad hygiene...

    • @MiaDanielle
      @MiaDanielle  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Lol! Well, at least you're climbing the mountain ;)

    Your home looks so great 😊. I really have to implement some of your ideas, especially the one minute rule. I always toss my mail on the table, leave things out, throw stuff on the floor etc. I don’t have a dishwasher but I really should do my dishes everyday. I always love the kitchen to be clean and tidy 🤍. Thanks fir another good video 🤍.

      I have started doing disposable plates and utensils. I don't like doing disposable. But I rather not have the dishes pile up. Single Mom here..cooks cleans..I do too much!!! Blessings.

    How many times should we clean our baseboards and walls from our bedroom?
    My problem is cleaning behind furniture because I am not strong enough to move them nor my family. We are disabled. There are a ton of dust bunnies and dirt behind all my furniture! 😱
    I live in a dusty area so we tend to get our rooms dirtier very often.

    Great video! Very helpful! I struggle with folding clothes in the wardrobe, they always end up everywhere. I don't know to colour code them or organise them via type of clothing or both!

    We don’t have a pantry so we do a snack drawer. We unbox those items and put them all into the snack drawer.

    Roll down your cover and air out your bed everyday before making it. It is basic sanitary practice.

  • @AneciaMagparangalan-bl5kp
    @AneciaMagparangalan-bl5kp 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Dont agree with the sanitary part. The bottom of the house slippers and of the shoes worn ouside come in contact with the same space provided.
    How could that be sanitary?

      She’s wearing her outside shoes inside her house, so using the same shoe rack doesn’t matter in that situation. I and a lot of others take outdoor shoes off at the door and do not wear them inside the house. 🤩

    Where is it bought the paper organiser

  • @Ask22
    @Ask22 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The issue is not hanging things up. It is the hangers. Hangers with texture and no wood should feel nice when you touch them. No plastic hangers. Keep a notebook to the date and time you don't hang something up, and you will always hang things up.

    Are those "handleless" kitchen cabinet/drawers or just regular cabinets without hardware (visual clutter)?

    • @MiaDanielle
      @MiaDanielle  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They came this way when we bought the place, so I'm not sure which they were initially
